Thanks for the link! I just played Oregon Trail with a coworker - we actually got to Oregon! (I don't recall ever doing that as a kid). Russ and Mike in the top 10 list. Too bad we were bankers or we could have been higher...

What's funny is that I could NEVER get to Oregon.. but I loaded this up, got clothes, got wagon wheels, and went nonstop (only stopping to hunt) and I made it to Oregon on my first try with three members of my party still left alive.
One girl broke her leg and died. How she broke her leg in a covered wagon being pulled by some ox is beyond me, though.

I had 10 Oxen and was only 99 miles away from Oregon when..........the Thief came and stole 9 of my oxen. Thus, I went a mile per day....and after 30 days, I died. I would like to say I hate that theif and he caused my death. Still, how he moved 9 oxen without my noticing merits an award.

gotta love splinter cells gone bad..
cool.. i love these old games too.. i still have my commodore 64 hooked up ina room.. and i can play rounds of Madden while it loads.

What's the game where you can be a fish and you have to eat other fish? You can pick how big you are and need to avoid ospreys. I played that about as much as Oregon Trail.

Sweet, I love Oregon Trail. I just made it there with 4 people in fair health starting with a Carpenter.
Anyone ever play a game on Apples (I think) called Dr. Quandary's Island? It was kinda like a puzzle solving game. I played it when I was in 8th grade, but I haven't been able to find anything on it, anywhere.
