I'm kind of pissed at Freepay now. I just paid someone on here to do what I though was my last referral for FreePSP's, and they did it just fine. So I send my account to the approval process and they take away 2 of my referrals (both people I don't know) from well over 6 months ago for not being unique referrals with a different address. Don't do different referrals from the same IP address. You can sign up for any number of freepay sites from the same computer (for yourself), but don't sign up for one and have your friend complete a referral from the same computer. The reason is that Freepay doesn't want you to "walk" your friend through the process. They will suspend your account for that.

Depends on what the item is; they aren't having much luck coming across ipods (except nanos), macminis, or 360s. PSPs are even slow to ship from them, I'm told.

Depends on what the item is; they aren't having much luck coming across ipods (except nanos), macminis, or 360s. PSPs are even slow to ship from them, I'm told.

Yeah I have it too, and I've been processing since August. Freepay is really pissing me off lately, and I think alot of their problems have to do with going international, they shouldn't have expanded if they can't keep up with everything. I can understand a delay in shipping 360's, but there is no excuse for people not getting Ipods or PSPs right away since you can go ANYWHERE and get these anytime.

Pretty sure it is only for that one item. You can do as many different freepay as you want as long as they are different. For example, you can do PS3, PSP, DS, iPod, Xbox 360 all at the same time. Well, you better be able to, because I have signed up for all those (sans DS) and my PSP is about to be done in a day.

For all you guys waiting on stuff from freepay, I TOLD YOU TRAINN IS THE BEST! I am not a rookie at this I know what I am talking about. I just got my 3rd video ipod, I got a $500 best buy gift certificate (which went to my xbox360), and $250 paypal. My best experiences were with Trainn NOT freepay. Freepay is slow and crappy...trainn is fast and good. Plus it is way easier to get referrals for Trainn because less people have done it.

shoot.. got back from the vacation and the freepay crap is showing up? I've been waiting for my ipod for a month and and the 'processing' has change to pending approval and nothing show up anymore.. I know for sure that others has sign up for the free PSP one from CAG.. but nothing has shown up neither.. are they going down the drain?

It means the SEC are now taking control of 12dp, in fact, Charis only posted in the 12dp forums only once in the last few days. As usual her attorneys are advising total silence... I am still not sure whether the SEC involvement is a good or bad thing, with respect to our refunds I mean. The original motion of the SEC for an "ex parte" was denied by a federal judge the very same day it was presented. Ex parte simply means the ability to take legal action without notifying the defendant (12dp)... Anyhow 12dp & SEC have reached an agreement so it doesn't matter now. In the SEC court document, I see a lot of Stormpay-like words and statements all over it. The fact that SP do want the SEC to be involved is a scary thought, but Charis have already given them the bank statements and bank info to disprove the 95% figure, among other things... Let's not forget the FBI who is doing their thing in silence.. Long story short, all we can do now is just go on with our life and wait. Yep once again.

By the way, I made my first upgrade at Phoenixsurf today. The first wave of payments have come through, there were problems with 32 accts but it's now fixed. They also replied to the points made by Leo on his drunkonlife website and many others about the bad history one of their "consulting partner". I kinda agree with them on that, you need all the friends you can get, as long as they're only in for consultation (and that they don't work for the competition lol).

A few notes:

1- Only one account allowed per person. BUT they check by Name & email, NOT IP. No more IP issues for surfing or signing up ^_^

2- Just like 12dp you need to upgrade before you surf. 15 sites a day minimum, 30 sites max, only 15 seconds per site.

3- Fast track option to get payment in 48 hours instead of 7 business days, at a cost of 5%. I will be upgrading every 5 days and using this feature.

4- Max of 2 upgrades just like 12dp, but you cannot upgrade 2 times in one day, just once.

5- Don't forget to sign up for their forums as well. (My nick there is wisechild) I signed up for their support center as well (similar to 12dp ticket system), but I don't like the fact that they ask for your home address, postal code and phone number there... Maybe it's best to sign up only when you need support.

Yeah this is bullcrap, and they don't seem to have any explanation about it up yet. I think the answer lies somewhere between "The rumors of my death have been greatly eggagerated" and "swiftly becoming very shady."

I know they are the biggest freebie site, and I believe they are the most consistent (that is, if you finish their site, you don't need to worry about getting scammed out of it).

They *just* changed their terms so that you have to get all your referrals done in 90 days, which makes some sites (laptops, which needs 20 referrals) damn near impossible to get. I'd say that you're good for your PSP, though their shipping times over the past few months have changed drastically. It may be several weeks to a month before your order goes from "processing" to "sent to vendor" (aka shipped).

I wouldn't sweat it, but I also wouldn't do anymore FP sites under their new conditions.

I think Freepay may possibly be on the verge of sending out 360's. I checked my account status today, and while still "Processing" the date of my order has been changed to 2/23/2006. It usually does take them 7-10 business days on this step, which would be sometime this week. Their help section also still says that they will fulfill orders in March 2006, which they had previously changed well before it got to the actual timeframe they were promising. Hopefully we'll all be seeing some (positive) action on this front soon.

Also, I desperately want to get my last referrals for PSPs http://psps.freepay.com/?r=15337628 and Ipod: http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=8861121 and I need them before 5/30/06. how do they verify unique, valid, referrals. When you sign up for an offer, does the company send the info to freepay (freebie site) with your name, address, etc and check against the info in the system at said freebie site (as where they will mail your freebie once fulfilled)? I am just trying to figure out how they can try to weasel out of crediting you.

For instance, you use your parents mailing address (or college mailing address) though you dont reside there all the time, or you register on freebie site with address A, sign up for offer with address B (billing address is different from address A) would this cause problems. If not, college campuses could offer unlimited possibilities.

edit note: came up with this after reading the freepay changes to fulfillment. and they say they will check your referrels' referrels. i dont see how this is relevent to the person who is claiming their prize. (I know my referrals arent going to try to get their own, but in the case where you trade/buy a referral, their actions could screw you over.)

for those doing the ps3, as of now, would you just take the money, in case the site doesnt stay around til launch? just getting a bit restless seeing as the ps3 wont be delivered anywhere near launch, right? proof is that most xbox360 sites still havent delivered to those who completed theirs before/near launch.

Anyone has any opinion on Freepay? seem like they are kinda going downhill.. back order of ipod and PSP for so long.. change in policy (clearly to get rid of smart consumer, which will inevitably get bad word-of-mouth)... I don't see these action is a good sign.. I'm in the middle of obtaining credit for PSP.. but seem kinda risky to keep paying/tradiing for their credit now.. what ya'll think?

i got my PSP from them earlier this year pretty quickly...i think the only knock on freepay is their new policy..

I asume you are talking about Trainn's ps3 site and in which case you are wrong about the xbox 360 thing. Trainn has sent hundreds of xbox360s so I am sure they are good for the ps3s. I would get the money now though as the price is likely to go up and they are now saying it won't be released till after december!
