Yeah, that's exactly why I want the giftcard now. This was the first I'd heard of it since I actually was just over at ratetheoffer looking up an offer for someone signing up under me. I also read something over there about the state of NY suing them over selling email addresses in violation of their terms of service, which I was particularly interested in since I'm from NY. I've been getting a little burned out on the free sites so its been tough to keep up with, there seems to be a lot going on. Don't waste your time. There are vastly superior and easier laptop sites out there. FreePay will frustrate you to no end, no matter how you cut it - a laptop from them isn't worth it.

Uhh, Trainn and free4me are about as legit as you can get. They're both rated A on A4F.

BTW, OOD's are going to be inevitable on your last couple of referrals for most laptop sites, so prepare to pay a higher premium in the end.

I'm sort of an insomniac, to a degree, so I was up real late just reading about these offers and the legit ones, the instant ones, and the easiest to cancel and all of that.

I'm really impatient though, so even though I wanted a 60 gig, I'm settling for the 30 gig. thanks for the reassurance. Normally that 20GB news would be bad, but after panicing about not getting it at all, I think I can deal. This is definitely the last time I am dealing with Freepay though. After all the 360 stories and now this, there is no way they are getting my time and effort.

The reason I didn't do true.com was the inability to cancel electronically. Hell, I just gave them my email (didn't sign up for the service) and I get 2-3 emails a day. Annoying.

If there is an efax offer on a site, do it. It's completely free if you cancel within the trial period (if the offer allows it - digitalcameras does). Netflix to me seems like a no-brainer. Sure, it takes longer to process, but you're actually getting something you might like for your money. 1) CAG Join Date: May 2006? I bet this dude signed up *just* to post this link in this thread. I haven't done so, but I'm sure checking for other posts this person's made will show nothing other than this.

2) The boilerplate writing. How generic could this person be? This shit reads like a spam message: "this site allows you to get a free playstation 3." Well, no shit. We have 1500 posts, in this thread alone, of people dealing with sites like these. You are the first person to discover FreePay in much the same way that Columbus was the first to discover America: you weren't.

3) Another aspect of his post's cardboard-like generic-ness: the poster just isn't reading this thread at all. They didn't pay any attention to the conversation, to who is offering what, to anything at all. They just laid their generic-ass whore post like a turd on the floor, and expect people to sign up under them. Chances are this dude has done the very same thing at a dozen other sites, with mized results.

4) They haven't read the thread since they seem to be asking for referrals in good faith, rather than offering anything in trade. How fucking dumb do you think people are? If you already knew that people buy and trade referrals, well, then you're being dishonest for acting so naive. I'll assume that you truly don't know what you're doing. Make an offer to trade for others' referrals, and make an offer to sell your greens ($15 is the going rate, and even I'm not having much luck with that). Since you are brand new here, don't be surprised if you're doing referrals first for others, or if you're asked to pay first. I wish Freepay would respond a little quicker to service questions. I wanted to know for sure if I get an extension or not for the Ipod and PSP sites. Their terms of service was updated to mention an extension for referrals that had signed up and completed an offer before 5/30/06 and had not received credit yet. I also thought that we would still have today to get the referrals in, but sure enough it already says that I have not met my requirements in time.

Refs are going up all over the place, though. Freepay wants 12 for the $500 PS3, while TraInn wants 12 also (or perhaps 13). It's becoming more and more common to see them go up, unfortunately.

My Xbox 360 is shipped from Freepay! This means they finally have them. I would have preferred the gift card option but at least its finally coming and my friends can stop asking if I'll ever get it. It shipped from MI by DHL and should be here tomorrow!

Jeez. It's not like I'm flooding this thread with posts about it.

I figure if it's a bit more structured, it's worth a shot. Besides, two posts happen in here: people begging for referrals or people bitching about those begging. Now, I'm not blaming anyone because I do it too. However, I figure that, instead of trying to pay people out the wazoo for them, this was worth a shot - not to mention it's a relaible network that is the first to have an offer for the Wii.

ok, this might be a stupid question, but I scanned thru the first 10 pages of this thread and didn't see any info about it.

I clicked on someones flashipods4free thing to check it out...i signed up for the referals. I have not completed the offer yet but have a couple of questions.

1. Is this site good, as I saw a lot of complaints about different sites over the past few pages.....

2. If I signed up for the referal, what is the difference in points or the category a and b for the offers.

3. What is the best offer to get so the person I signed up under gets the credit for the referal.

4. How do you get the picture in my sigature to be an active link. I clicked on someone elses picture and it brought me to the website, but when I click on my picture nothing happens

1. It's a legit company. One of the best at the moment, 'smatter of fact.

2. Don't do the points system. It's more trouble than it's worth.

3. Depends. Free/cheap? Video Professor or Red Blossom diet pills. Both require you to cancel/return/jump through hoops to avoid $80 charges. The tickle.com tests range in price from $5 to $13, but credit instantly and can be canceled immediately. There are others that are good, too, I'm sure.
