I do and I love it. It was very well done. I must give props to Valve for an amazing game.
I also have a 12 person server up for it. Ip=70.86.164.229:27015

Once they stop being dickweeds and give it to the retail CE owners, yes (but that probably wont ever happen).

I eventually caved in yesterday and went out and bought CS Source (even though I already own HL 2). Very good game so far, sure it's not like the original DOD but it's still pretty damn fun.

I second that. Greedy bastards. Basically Valve is refusing it to us simply because of their feud with Vivendi. Since their deal with Vivendi didn't cover DoD:S, they are leaving us out in the cold regardless of the fact that how much the CE cost us equates to Steam packages that did cover DoD:S and then some.

Remembar, Valve didn't make a penny from retail sales when Vivendi was publishing.

They also never promised that DoD would be free with purchase of the retail version either.

Is there any way to buy just DOD? I bought it standalone back in the day for the original halflife and it rocked.

I third this. I will not buy DoD. I bought the game for about the same price as the Silver (I think) level of Steam. I couldn't download it from Steam because I was at home (dial-up) so I bought it to play HL2. I now wish I waited till I went back to college and had broadband. Regardless, I feel cheated as a consumer and will not buy more.

Got it with the CS: Source box. Great game and I love how well this game runs on my sub-par P.C. The maps are well done (even if there are only four), gameplay is intense, and the visuals are great.

They never promised HL2: DM to anyone at all either. So there! :P
