Man, I think the end of the world is coming....... and nature is going to end it....

Deadly Hurricanes in Southern US (Katrina and Rita)
Deadly Mudslides in Guatamala ( result of Hurricane Stan)
Deadly Earthquack in India/Pakistan
Flooding Rains in Eastern US ( result of Hurricane Tammy)

Can it get any worse? Hundreds of Thousands of people have died because of these natural disasters.......

I think mother nature is punishing humans for what we've done to nature......

ALSO: The Possibility of a PANDEMIC due to a bird flu

Hold up now, bostonfrontier i aint trying to disrespect you or this thread. You posted a thread that should of been in the other forum btw. You ask whats going on in the world, well nothing is going on. All of the things that you mention is just a normal type of life that we lived in, meaning, this life is not normal.

You seem to be shocked, but in truth, you shouldnt be. And who the hell is mother nature?

I thought it was title: GOD Foundation or GOD's footstool?

I know, because these things NEVER HAPPEN and are only happening now because we treat the planet "bad". Honestly, do you think people living in the 1600's lived forever because they didn't use aerosol? What about the black plague, we didn't have pollution back then so that was totally unnecessary on "mother natures" part. There is no wrath of mother nature, it's a natural cycle and people shouldn't freak out.

I dont think the possibilty of a outbreak on bird flu will happen, not to the extreme anyway. Things are suppose to get worse before the end, but then i heard rumors ;) of it getting better. GOD is not gonna let too much stuff get out of control, so no worries.

as far as I know the bird flu can't be caught from human to human at this current time. Now it may happen some day, just like we could have a had a nuclear war with russia or the alleged Global warming that would have changed the face of the earth along with the other jibberish that was talked about in the 1980's...

The only reason hurricanes are killing anyone, is because people live where hurricanes hit.

Now when a super storm the size of a hemisphere forms and it just so happens to match a picture taken of an egg roll that looks like jesus, then you can worry.

Uhm... OP, good morning, you've learned about something called "modern media" grats! You've taken another one of life's little steps- you know- learning how to control your bowel movements ("using the pottie"), learning to tie your shoes, ride a big wheel, and all that.

People have been dying in the hundreds of thousands for years, it is just that:

1. You were not alive / or paying attention.
2. You somehow feel that world around you doesn't respect you (again, grats, if you've learned that awesome, yet another step).

People have been bemoaning the end of the world for thousands of years now. Important people say things like that, people on the street say that-

I'll give you an example-

I know a guy who thinks this way- (note he is not a friend of mine)- lets call him "Dave"

Dave doesn't have anything going for him in his life. He's never had a date, seems to be a loser in all things even though his parents always told him that he was special.

Dave tends to look at trends as to what is going on in modern day society, and then look at the most screwed up portions of the bible- and perdicts the world coming to the end.

The first time he predicted this was around 1998 or 1999.

He did this again in 2001 or 2002

And... he was wrong! Can you belive it? I mean, hell, he looked at all the trends, the people dying around the world, the conflicts... and wow, the world didn't end.

You see, doomsayers seem to get away with this kind of bullshit because:

1. Nobody in their right mind really gives a flying fuck about them or their predictions.
2. They are always wrong.

Crying out "the end of the world is Neigh" is a plea for attention- to make one's self feel special- every time I hear

"The world is going to end"

I replace

"I'm stupid and lonley and everyone knows what a complete waste of oxygen I am"

Tips for making things better-

Instead of whining about the end of the world- why not be proactive and give all your money to charity, go to work full time for a charity and live like a monk.

Me, I figure the world's going to keep going on for the forseeable future, I just upgraded by WD-62825 to a 1080p 62 Inch DLP WD-62827. Things are looking fine over here.
