I picked up this game at a local Toys r us today, but weird thing is no other stores such as Gamestop, ebgames, wal-mart, target, FYE even has it and said they never carried it. I then checked ebgames.com and says its not even out yet, Gamestop.com says its backordered(no way in hell a game from the Frontier series is sold out so quickly). Anybody knows whats going on, game is actually pretty neat lots better then unlinited saga

Isn't this the next game after Unlimited Saga? Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I rest my case.....
If this is not the next game after UNlimited Saga, I firmly place foot in mouth. ;)

Well it's the same series....but it's actually a remake of one of the SNES ones that never made it to the states ;)

Its suppose to be $30 at Frys but I'm not much interested even at that price. I thought Unlimited Saga was beautiful but boring (like my ex). How about giving us your impressions on the game? I'm interested in seeing what a CAG has to say about it.

The ship date was the 11th IIRC, most stores don't actually get the games til the next day. I think TRU uses their own shipping methods to get products in stores, so perhaps shipping was a bit delayed for others and somehow your TRU got them a bit eariler than the rest.

yea I was surprised seeing how I get VERY FEW RPG's never got any of the disgaea series games, Y's, arc the lad, or Radiata story

I picked it up at GameStop today (err, yesterday I guess actually) no problem. Perhaps the ones around you merely hadn't received their daily shipments yet.

We got it in at K-Mart today... not sure why they sent me some copies, because no one who shops in there has any interest in a Japanese RPG.
Espically with that horrible box art.
