anyone ever heard of this band? I saw them on advance warning on mtv last night and i gotta say they're really good.

they're a really good band, i througly enjoyed their latest cd (good news for people who love bad news), and if you liked their single (float on) you'll probably like the cd.

Yeah, they are good, although its weird that they would be on that, as theyve been around for a long time. I think they are using one of their songs in a car commercial now too.

The mtv guy said that while although they had been around for a long time that they were on the list because they released their first video ever.

modest mouse is awesome! check out franz ferdinand "take me out." i'm not an expert on music, but to me it has the same kind of sound.

I downloaded Float On the other day, and I'm quite impressed. I'll check out their CD.

I have both CDs, and they're both great. Franz Ferdinand isnt really very similiar. Franz Ferdinand is like if the strokes met funk kinda, dark of the matinee's chorus is awesome.

*EDIT* I also recommend The Shins, a very good indie pop rock band, I think they're the next big thing.

The moon and antarctica CD fucking rocks. I loved this band since I heard them on One Step Beyond. Very good band. I hope they don't go too mainstream that they change their music.

yea, like i said... i'm not expert on music, but i like both of the groups and that's all that matters, lol. :D

Modest Mouse, The Shins, Ugly Cassanova are all very good bands. New Pornographers are really good too! I could go on, but I'm getting off topic!

their new CD is alot better than they're first CD. I notice I have a thing for female lead singers, I bought the new pornographers, prettey girls makes graves and the yeah yeah yeahs CD all at the same time recently.
