Need help with Halloween costume... [Mobile/Archive]

So my friends have all decided that everyone must sport a fake mustache for Halloween this year...I need some help figuring out what I could be that would put a fake mustache to good use. So far I have friends going as: Tom Selleck aka Magnum PI, Bernie Lomax (of Weekend at Bernies fame), a New York City Cop, a butcher, and Kip from Napoleon Dynamite. Anybody else have any good ideas? I'm thinking maybe a character from the 80's. I was thinking maybe Bandit aka Burt Reynolds, but without a black Trans Am I may not be able to pull that off. Any thoughts?

If you wanna be Burt Reynolds, just wear his outfit from Smokey & the Bandit. Red shirt and a hat:

Thats a pretty good idea, but I'm trying to avoid the whole beard thing and just go with the sweet 'stash.

I saw a Magnum PI costume at Target.... they also had Knight Rider and a bunch of other 80s shows. Looked like a ripoff at $40 though.

That would be pretty funny if you went as Hogan...

You could rip off your shirt and ask people to give you candy and money... and then tell them to watch Hogan Knows Best on VH1... BROTHER!

Maybe 70's spaghetti western mexican gunslinger? That should be pretty easy and cheap to put together.
