Any one see a stage kit at CC and if so the price ?

was at Blaine and Minnetonka CC. Very little left, but it's all like 50% off. They had a ton of 360's at the Blaine CC yesterday. Otherwise, not much left.

30%-60% depending on product. The only things that aren't at that are computers and Ipods which are at 10%.

Saw two at Shopko last week, the register blocked the sale because it came up as street date material and would not let the cashier ring it up. Target has a simular system as well. I am not sure if Wal-Mart or K-Mart have a way to block the sale at the POS.

I played SF4 this weekend.. and it's amazing. I don't often pay full price for any games, but SF4 has me very, very tempted. I'll fight the urge to buy it tonight and see if someone has seen any deals for it.

Not as good a deal as target but best buy maplewood has rock band se clearanced for about $84. As reported in the main deals thread ghwt bundles at cc are $94. I don't need 1 so haven't checked prices but it seems that there are a couple decent tv's at cc as well. They had 2 different panasonic viera plasma's 50" for 1100 and $1300 ish.

Possibly, but I would only buy if I could open ad inspect it there. Including powering it up. Also at this time IMO only 46" or larger as they seem to have the better price due to many people not wanting large tv's. Which I personally do not understand.

My wife saw the same Samsung 67" LED DLP HDTV I paid close to $2000 for from Amazon. It was the last one for $14xx. So yeah, the larger screens are probably worth looking at. It's just the "All Sales Final" when spending $1000+ that would scare me off.

They absolutely do not... think about it, most of them are making pretty weak pay to start with. Combine that with the fact that they can't really get fired from the current position and the fact that they're likely not happy to be losing their jobs, yeah, customer service is going to be poor.

I priced two 8GB memory sticks this morning at MG CC and they rang up $41 and $48. Microcenter has sandisk 8GB Pro Duo for $40.

No more PSP's there either by the way. I was hoping there would be a drop on consoles today, but it did not happen. I have been watching and the PSP's have been selling fast at $101. If you want one now, there were about 7 to 10 left at the Ridgedale CC this morning. My wife counted over 20 in a case and more behind the counter on Thursday.

I was at the roseville cc yesterday. Pretty bare. Had gh3 guitar and game bundles, probably gone today. A few home stereo speakers left that may be decent buys at 50% off. Don't need so don't know how good of a deal. Some of those panasonic 50" plasma's left as well. They have a samsung ddslr camera that if it got another 20% off I'd buy. Doubt they would go that low though since they can sell the lot in bulk to a reseller for more since the camera sells for 999 on amazon. They were at $830 ish I believe. 6-700 and I think I'd buy one. Still had microsoft equipment as well.

Any one here shops at FYE stores, i do at Burnsville Center and last week i bought "jumper" on blue-ray and it had discount, and with the member pass i paid around 24 dlls. and i just looked at the website, and looks like several things have extra 10% off or rebate, so 20% off for members. i pre-ordered resident evil at gamestop but i might change my order.almost 20 dlls off at fye.
I also went to CC in burnsville, almost nothing there, they had some PCs and laptops, a few cameras, a lot of usb cables, a few games(warhammer online prolly the best one), game guides, a lot of ps3 component cables, and covers for wiifit and ipods. i think thats it.

yes, it was 24.01 with tax and everything. and yes they charge for the membership, not sure how much but when u go get it they give u 20% off, so far it has paid for itself.
i was talking about the RE5 collectors edition which is listed around 72 dlls for members.
I dont really like buying on amazon, i have tried several times, and unless they have free shipping, i will end up paying a couple dlls more. and i have never found a deal im interested in. i agree they have had pretty good deals, but usually is in stuff i already have, or im not interested in.
If wanted something very cheap i would try ebay instead.

Thanks, I'll check the two Targets that are near me tomorrow hopefully and see if they're still there. I'd be surprised if they weren't, one store had at least 10 copies.

Just to let you guys know if you're looking for clearance deals the new Target in Apple Valley (160th and Pilot Knob) is not a good place to check. I've been there a few times and never found any good clearance deals. Only thing I've seen was Abba Singstar.

Drove around the cities on Monday and could not find any Soul Calibur IV's out there. I did however, cash in my Super America rewards for a $25 Gamestop Giftcard. Coming from Arizona it is nice to see a gas station offer incentives for going to there stores. I also drove to Eau Claire on Monday as well and that Target had Far Cry 2 (360) for $19.98. Don't know if its worth the drive for anyone, I forgot formula in the cities and Eau Claire is about the same distance for me to drive to. Wife also wanted Sonic so it worked out....

There is a listing on craigslist for a streetfighter 15th anniversary edition arcade stick with ps2 to ps3 adapter for 60 bucks. Not positive but I believe that is a really good price. I think these go for over a 100 on ebay. Just in case anyone was interested.

Drove around the cities on Monday and could not find any Soul Calibur IV's out there. I did however, cash in my Super America rewards for a $25 Gamestop Giftcard. Coming from Arizona it is nice to see a gas station offer incentives for going to there stores. I also drove to Eau Claire on Monday as well and that Target had Far Cry 2 (360) for $19.98. Don't know if its worth the drive for anyone, I forgot formula in the cities and Eau Claire is about the same distance for me to drive to. Wife also wanted Sonic so it worked out....

Holy shit - I didn't think you could use Speedy Rewards for anything other than free hot dogs and gas. I gotta start using that thing again at the SA by my house.

Couple copies of Sonic Unleashed for $34.98, couple copies of X-Blades, don't remember the price. I picked up a copy of Far Cry 2.

Darn, I was in Chicago for the weekend and shopped around when I saw the sale notice. I passed up several GRID 360's. I did see rmb's Prof Layton request, but I only found one of those and I think I'll keep it. I knew a lot of CAG's were after GRID, but I spent too much as it is on my own pile o' games and saw quite a few so didn't think to pick up an extra.

Inver Grove Heights Best Buy had a good number of Resistance 2 and Resident Evil 5 Collector's Editions. Resistance 2 was like $45 I think. Also lots of copies of Infinite Undiscovery (360) for $20... decent selection of clearance games overall, can't recall what else was there.

Speedy Rewards is changing there points value to get giftcards. For a Gamestop $25 giftcard it is now 25,000 points instead of the previous 20,900. Also they are adding 1600 point cards and $20 PSN cards to the program for 20,000 points each. They also have X-Box Live 3 month cards. Sucks that they are going up, but also nice to see more of a selection. WTF is up with all the whiny ass fuckers in the bb thread. Should of pre-bought if they couldn't get there at open. Hell, I went to the Burnsville store and got there a couple minutes late and grabbed what I wanted. SC4 + Pure for 360 along with MLB08 + rock band for the ps3. No problems at all. Though 5 minutes after I got there you couldn't stand in the 360 aisle. Narrow aisles at that store. By the looks of the bb trading thread I should have bought every sc4 and pure for 360 not to mention for the ps3. The funny part was that the ps3 row was untouched. I am sure they sold out but not until the 360 stuff was gone. Most of us with both systems buy on the 360 for multi-platform games.

The Eagan one was cleaned out of everything decent before 1 pm on Sunday (when I went in).

I always get mad at the people who buy ALL of a sale item to flip or resell. Then I remember that it's all the retailer's fault. If Best Buy had set up a '1 of each title per customer' rule up on this kind of stuff, it would have required much more effort for dickbags to take everything good on the first day.

I would imagine that the idea of the $10 games was to act as a loss leader: they must have lost at LEAST $30 on every copy of SC4 that walked out with that one selish person. Allowing one person to buy ALL of your loss leader items flushed the entire POINT down the toilet. I know I walked in, heard they were out at Eagan and every other Best Buy within 15 miles, and then left without buying anything.

Yea, no copies when I got there. Picked up mirror's edge though. Then went to the elk river store and grabbed 2 copies of naruto ultimate ninja storm @ the $15 price. Grabbed the naruto's for trade more or less. Want tiger on the 360.

At the roger's store I asked about tiger and the guy checked the system and it said they have 6 copies. Most likely not updated yet. You'd have to be a fool to hide 6 copies when they are @ 15 already. Maple Grove had a couple copies but @ 30 bucks still. Maybe Monday.

Yeah that's the one, the super target next to the home depot and TCF with the roundabout in front. I went back yesterday to buy groceries and checked and they were all gone. Turok was gone too. They were on the third clearance rack with all the clearance games (there's three racks in the game section. One has a shitload of nano cases, the other has nano cases and digital frames, and the last one has all the games). Either a bunch of people went and got the game ... or someone just bought them all. I'm guessing the later rather than the former.

There are still two copies of X-blades though!

$4.98 is a strange price for Far Cry 2. The elusive 85% off would have been priced $5.94 as the last drop ends in 4 not 8. Should probably also call it the only Far Cry 2 rather than the last since there have not been any copies at that store for over a month and a half, and those were for PS3. I would have picked that one up if I saw it there yesterday.

I sure hope some of those ME copies make it to $9.98. They have been $19.98 over three weeks and only a couple of copies sold, but I bet now they are gone before Monday.

Look behind all the endcaps over in electronics, the Brooklyn Center one is laid out sort of oddly, but I've gotten clearance games there.

Both Apple Valley Targets had Afro Samurai (360) clearanced to $42, unfortunately only a couple copies at each store so I have a feeling its not going to last until the $20 point that I'm willing to pay for it. Lots of copies at both of Prince of Persia (360) (also $42)

You could try ordering online and pick it up in store and get 20%off an accesory. I just did that with ufc undisputed and ordered the warbeast guitar for rock band. $70 shipped is pretty good in my opinion.
Edit: Oh yeah, they had 'special edtion' (guitar, drums, game and mic bundle ) Rock Band around $50 and you could use the discount on it. i was tempted to get that instead of the guitar but i laready have the game and warbeast looks bad ass, so i had to ignore the bundle.

I checked out this BB today at 1pm and the 360 version of Endwar was gone. All that was left for 360 for $7 was a bunch of copies of Punchout, one copy of Fifa 08 and a couple of other titles that I can't remember.

Also, no POG titles to be found today at BBVs in Apple Valley (off of Cedar), or Richfield (HUB). I also called BBVs on Hiawatha and 46th, Lake and Minnehaha, Lake and Nicollet and Hennepin (Uptown) and no one knew what I was talking about.

Best buy off of 494 was packed to the brim with guides as of 11:00am. I picked up what I needed and left at least one (often many copies) of everything that dropped today. A very nice young female cashier rang me up without a hitch after I used the "I think these are clearanced" line. Then I went back for a couple more and she said "back for more huh?" with a smile. I was like, "yup, my friends would kill me if they found out I got guides this cheap and didn't hook them up." She laughed and said, "and you don't even have to tell them they were a penny." Anyways, point is, look for her if she's still on shift. She's tall, mixed skin with her hair up.

Also, guides were pulled at the Edina BB. (York and 60 something)

I used the same cashier as always at the Richfield BB. I went thru at Noon and returned at about 3 and it was cleared out. I was going to pick up another Resistance 2, but the 10 or so I left were gone. If they pulled them, they missed the Pokemon guides as there were still about 20. I hit about 7 BBs today and only two had not pulled guides. I was disappointed that a couple that never pull guides were on the ball today.

I'm not a regular on the pennied guides because it seems like so much travel and very little benefit but I was in the area for an interview so I decided to stop at the Richfield BB around 3:15-4:00. All I found was GTA Lost and the Damned for a penny but I could have missed some. I picked it up and a copy of the dead space guide for $5 and left one copy of GTA: L+D there in the 360 isle.

The most frustrating thing was I was there in a suit because I came from an interview and was checking which guides were pennied on my phone because I didn't have a list with me. Well it took some time and there was one worker that was following me around the store from a distance keeping an eye on me as if i looked suspicious in an Italian hand-made suit looking at my smart phone. It was a bit humorous but probably rushed me a bit more than I would have liked. What was worse is all four cashiers were in a circle in front of the registers chatting and I had to interupt them and ask if any were open in order to get my stuff rung up.

It is in a separate little mobile shelf with other clearance games, most marked 50% off. I liked it better when it used to be 75% off everything. Maybe again someday.
