Just seeing what's up with everyone on here. Haven't been posting the last few days but I'll post something significant later.

Been working out 4 out of 7 days (maybe I'll do 5) and I've lost nearly 20 pounds since the beginning of summer.

I then went to the Sunnyvale store and they were out of stock HOWEVER, they looked up the price and sure enough, it was $44.98. I then went over to Customer Service and did a return/rebuy. I was lucky and they allowed me to do it. Therefore, I got the C.E. for only $44.98.

I think the only other store that might have some copies is the store over in Saratoga. I don't know the price but I should know and post it here in a bit.

It was the Gamecrazy off Blossom Hill in Los Gatos. The guys there are really nice, they even threw in two MGS4 bandannas. I've been looking for this guide for a long time and was happy to finally find it.

Focus test was alright. The guy said we were allowed to tell people we played Flock since it has been announced already, but nothing else. I'm sure if you google a video of the game you'll get an idea of how fun it was.

It's not glamorous but it's a hell of a lot better than the retail crap I've been dealing with for the past few years. Now, just need to keep it together and not go crazy spending my first paycheck on movies and games ;)

Since nobody has written anything here, I'll post.

Since the beginning of summer, I went on the scale today and found out I lost 20 lbs. which I'm proud of. Of course, it's not over by a long shot but I'm extremely excited of my progress.

I finally turned on the Wii Fit and it's a nice alternative to do physical activity. Of course, nothing beats the gym and I wouldn't count on the Wii Fit for losing mass amounts of weight. Heck, you're better off playing DDR.

Also for those of you still messing around with your PS2s, know that Yakuza 2 is coming out tomorrow. If you get your copy at Frys, it's only $24.99.

I played a little of Yakuza 1 and it was pretty fun, except then some other game came out (can't remember which) and I sort of forgot about it. I should finish it up now that 2 is coming out. The main thing I didn't like about it is the English voice acting really is painful to listen to and there's a fuck every few seconds. I'm so glad they kept the Japanese for 2.

I was wondering for some of you that collect penny guides like me. Is there any bookstore in the Bay Area that takes guides/sells guides? I went by to Bookbuyers (in Mountain View) and I traded in 13 of my penny guides and got $43.00 in credit. :hot: I then used the credit to get some of the guides they had there.

Anywhere else does anyone know where game guides can be traded/sold?

I can't recommend any place for trading in guides, but this reminded me that I did finally pick up the Mass Effect LE guide. Best Buy had it marked down to $17 and it was the last one on the shelf (in good condition, fortunately) so I decided I'd better grab it. The art book is wonderful. It's like an actual art book, opposed to the weak little pamphlets that come with LE editions of games these days. (Even the Mass Effect LE's art book was pretty lame, but this makes up for it... sort of?)

You know, now that I'm reading the reviews for the game... The game doesn't sound all that great, since there's supposedly issues with loading times, camera controls, and an uncompelling story/plot/characters... I guess I'll just wait until this game gets cheaper, besides... I'm still playing Vesperia. Need to complete that before moving on to other games. ;)

I had UT3 some time ago, but I traded that game for a new Game Boy Micro (Red/Gold Famicom version) just before the price drop. Although I did like the game, I didn't have an extra Keyboard/Mouse at the time (I preferred that setup over the PS3 controller) and I was preoccupied with other games. Once I get a Keyboard/Mouse for the PS3, I'll consider getting this game again. :)

I did find about 4 copies of Lost Odyssey at the San Jose College Park Target store and they were selling for $29.98. I picked up one. I also did pick up a 20 Gig HD for about $24.88. I was there. There was a line but by 5:30 I think most people got their autograph. They gave out cover of the game for Nonaka to sign, and a rubber grenade with Valkyria Chronicle on it. They had a raffle where they gave out the soundtrack, poster, figures, and a 80gb PS3. There was also a girl cosplay as Alicia but I dont think she looked like Alicia.

I also brought my copy of Nightshde for Nonaka to sign. He seemed to be impress to see someone with the game. The translator asked me if I like it, I was nervous and didnt tell him it was too difficult and just said it was good. I also won a Sega sweater for answering the quiz question. My time for playing games is pretty slim nowadays.

I pick up a LOT of games (i.e. Lego Batman, Mega Man 9, some Goozex stuff) but I don't have the time to play. I've been going to the gym a lot and I think I lost about 30 lbs. That, coupled with the time playing with my daughter has seriously crimped my time.

Metaly: Congratulations on the Prius! If I had to get a electric/gas hybrid, it would be that or a Civic. I do drive a Corolla and a Civic Coupe and it helps with the gas mileage.

Abcbadcat: Dude, you and I should help each other out with Target stuff. I've been lucky in the last two weeks in getting good stuff out of there and I need a copy of Skate for PS3 as well as other cheap games. I've been doing some flipping also and I built a nice bundle of credit at BBV that I've been using to get some of the newer games.

Other than that, same ol same ol here.

I picked up a couple of Eye of Judgments and Dragon Ball Z Burst Limits. I'm gonna wait till the prices drop and then try to return/rebuy at my local Target. It worked for Madden 2009 CE and if I get the right manager, he'll probably let me do it again.

My backlog is still pretty bad. I haven't played beyond the opening mission in FFT PSP, and I got it when it came out since it was $20 at Fry's... and now it's $20 everywhere :cold: At least I got the non-GH version though.

Picked up Lost Odyssey at Serra Center/Colma Target for $15 this morning. It was $30 on Sunday, so Target dropped the price on Monday. Even though there was 2 left, my cousin picked up the last one this evening. So someone got lucky (or someone is lurking).

I also grab Lost: Via Domus for $5, the Kodak battery recharge/photo stand for $7.50, rechargeable batteries for $0.88 each, and the Chronicles of Riddick trilogy for $10 (that was not on clearance).

On a different note, I'm playing Time Hollow on the DS. It's pretty good, but unfortunately it's pretty short as well.

Anyways, in the .45-1.20 it took me to get there, some asshole bought all 7.

Both stores I went to, confirmed that 7 were showing up.
I doubt the system updates in the middle of the day, but IDK. They told me it updates every 24 hours.

Capcom sent me some crazy huge box for no reason! But it was just a thin envelope with my replacement Okami covers in it stuck to something I got off eBay last week. :<

I was at the Powell Station today, and I saw the new advertisements for Left 4 Dead. They took a giant poster of the cover and put it on the ground in front of the stairs. They also posted it on those pillars sticking out from the walls at the waiting area for the trains. It was pretty cool to see ads for it.
