My brother, who is 5, wants a new game, but heres the deal, I don't know what game will be good for him.
Price isn't an issue because im gonna buy it through the upcoming TRU sale.
BTW, It needs to be a game that isn't hard for him (Cause I don't want to waste my time playing it, unless its one of those games that we would both have fun with).
BTW, the last game he bought is the Spongebob squarepant movie game and boy would you be surprised how hard that game is!
LEGO Star Wars, I'd say.
Either that or Manhunt.

What about a racing game?
PGR2?

The xbox is a bit of a mature ssytem for a 5 year old. Doesn't exactly have a lot of kids games that are any good, maybe something like Shadow the Hedgehog when it hits but with guns and all even that maybe too much. I dunno if something like Hulk: Ultimate Destrcution or Ultimate Spider-man would be too much either cuz I haven't played them. Sports games or perhaps a platformer like the Blinx games or Sonic Heroes could be good I guess, those were pretty simplistic.

Maybe one of those classic games compilation packs?

My son, 3 1/2 yrs old, likes to play Burnout Revenge. He never wins a race, but he loves the crashing and there are not many spots that the car gets "stuck".

Crash 'N Burn's demolition derbies are fun and easy.
Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix is stimulating enough, even if you don't get the steps right.
Fuzion Frenzy's party games aren't too difficult to play.
Any of the Ty the Tasmanain Tiger or Tak games.
And of course... Ninja Gaiden. JK!
You'd be surprised at how many "kiddy" platform games are actually quite challenging.
Check the reviews over at GamerDad (http://www.gamerdad.com/archive.cfm?typeID=videogame&listID=reviews&actionID=results) to see which games are fun and appropriate for kids.

Whatever you do, don't get the Incredibles.. the boss is insanely difficult, there's no way you could beat him.. even with cheats I still got the crap kicked out of me.

Wow that Gamerdad site is great.
It's nice to see adults reacting positively to all the negative media attention toward videogames.
I think Katamari is a good game for kids, as well as Zelda, Pikmin and the Sonic series.

Mad Dash, and maybe Starsky & Hutch and nba jam, if you like basketball games.

I let my brother's kids try the We Love Katamari demo today and they loved it. They call it "The Pick Up Game" It only took a few seconds for them to pick up the controls.
Likewise, they didn't like the Pac Man World 3 demo, as they have no nostalgic connection with Pac Man.

my g/f's little brother likes SSX and Star Wars BattleFronts.
i think they're both good because like burnout, kids have fun just making the car/person move.
his battlefronts love might have come from us making him play halo. and he can kill the characters on battelfront? not sure, but he likes it.

My brothers pretty good at halo 2... beats people in team training...
He played star wars battlefront (the original) and likes it so I may wait for the 2nd.
We have burn out 3 so getting the 4th would be a waste.
Thanks guys these are really helping, right now i think im gonna take al your suggestions and show him some gameplay from them... He also did watch star wars 3 so maybe battlefront would be good (I would like it too)
P.S. I know that the manhunt was a joke.
Finding Nemo is a pretty good one. Follows the story line of the movie, basically a great game for anyone that likes the movie. My gf wanted it, but I ended up really enjoying it.
But parts of it are pretty hard, so maybe it's not the best choice.

Nemo was terrible. My neice didn't even want to play it. Also that Spongebob and Incredibles games are really difficult for kids. My neice has them but my brother usually plays them while she watches because its hard.
Madagascar is pretty good, but don't pay too much for it.
Try some beatem ups like TMNT.

battlefronts is good, b/c you can either be on the same team or opposite teams(so you don't have to own him all the time), and it's really cheap now...new and used.
