With the Xbox 360 coming with Component Cables out of the box, I am thinking about upgrading my PS2 and XBox to Component Cables also. Will there be that much of a difference in picture quality ove the S-Video I am using now?

p.s.
I am using just a basic Sony Wega 27' TV, I dont know if that makes a difference or not.

I think it really depends on the TV, and whether it can display games in HD.

If your using a non hdtv the diffrence will not be that great(there will be some), as say s-video to composite.

Non HD I like S-Video for the good black and whites for RPG gaming.

Not worth it for 480i on a 27" IMO. Stick with s-video.

480p on HDTVs though any bigger - yes.

I agree. There is a MUCH larger difference between composite and SVideo than Component and SVideo
