So, I'm pretty sure my PS2's busted. I could spend $30 on cleaning/repair supplies, which may or may not work, or send it in to sony for $45, or buy another one for $100. However, I was wondering if anyone knows of people selling a PS2, console only. I don't need cables, or controllers, or anything. Just the box. I don't know why anyone would have an extra console laying around, but does anyone know of a way to work this?

I picked up a bare deck at a yard sale for $15, so it can happen. You could try a thread on the trading board and see if anyone has one they are looking to sell.

Whenever I put in a disc, it'll spin, then start making this grinding-ish noise. The disc never shows up under the browser, only says "Loading."

The item is used, and has been tested for basic functionality, and appears to be in good working order.
NOTE: "THERE IS NO DISC" MESSAGE IS DISPLAYED AFTER PS2 GAME IS INSERTED.
