Hi all.
I am currently writing this from my eMachine laptop, nuff said. It can play starcraft and other low end titles but I would like to move on up. I am looking for a good gaming comp setup (need a monitor, if it is cheaper to buy seperate then never mind). I only have like $800.00 to spend. Mind you I only want to play RTS titles and little else. So can any one help me out?
Thanks for any help I get.

Do you plan on building it yourself or buying a pre-made machine?

(I chose customize from the main screen and added the above options)
Add on a Leadtek Winfast GeForce 6600GT (for about $140) and you got yourself a winner!

Which RTS? You should get a comp with specs that exceed the "recommended system requirements."

Get the Sapphire GTO2. The best price is at Newegg but it isn't in stock. Maybe auto notify or call because they may not get more in.

It can be software hacked to a Radeon x850 with 16 pipes. Which was the high end of the last generation of cards.
