I would assume the retailer's are given a heads up before a price drop is announced. They probably had it all ready to go and were just waiting for the announcement to hit.

gamestop has a better deal. They are giving an ATV Offroad Fury 2 stategy guide with the online PS2 package. Also last I checked, the don't charge tax everywhere like ebgames does.

I think tax is only charged in TX and NY if I remember correctly. I know I was not taxed when I ordered from them

how is the online pack with the network adapter and a game the same price as just a ps2?

You better pickup PS2 Online Combo Pack as soon as possible cuz SONY going CLEAN OUT the inventory when it GONE is GONE :)

hey guyz what do you recommend to do. if i buy instore the sales tax is like $10. if i order it online i not only have to be home to receive it but to get it reasonable time i have to like get rush shipping. can i order online at gametop .com and do instore pickup and avoid sales tax?? is that possible

in store pickup you have to pay tax...it would be 15$ tax for me...damn 9.25% sales tax...damn them all to hell!

If you do INSTORE PICKUP you have to Pay taxes but i did recommand you purchase PS2 online combo Pack at CC or CC.com then chose INSTORE pickup... that way you received "FREE" DVD control ($15 value) in this week Ads. If you see Better Deal in Upcoming Ads in this month you can always take ur receipt to the store then PRICEMATCH & get FREE DEAL :)
