Not that I know of...but have you played the demo in the latest OXM? IMO, the game is terrible.

Bad huh? I saw the preview last night on the Land of the Dead DVD. I was hoping it would be good. I guess I'll have to wait for Xbox 360's Dead Rising.

Suppose to be out next week while the PC version I believe comes out this week. Played the demo and thought it was pretty decent. Heard that the online portion will be a blast so this might be a good buy if you have Live.

I just tried the demo and.. wow. That's a new level of awful. Not even XBox Live will save this one.

Yeah, there's this fun gameplay mechanic where if you're getting hit by two enemies at one time you can't do anything. It was so fun I was yelling countless obscene phrases!

My favorite is the part where it doesn't feel like you're really interacting with the game world whatsoever and how there's such a long pause and an idle animation between shots!

The demo was a complete turd. Especially since Brain Box claims they finished the game over a year ago, but only now decided to release it since Universal slapped the land of the dead name on it (Sea Dogs II anyone?).
I loved how if the zombie couldn't detect you, you were unable to inflict damage upon it (Hiding around a corner for example).
That being said, Invasion sounds interesting even if it plays like a goddamn turkey.

The publishing company filed for Chapter 11. This game is looking for another publisher right now so expect this to be delayed till next year.
There is also another horror game affected by this; I think its an HP Lovecraft game called Call of Cthulu. Same situtation

Hahaha, Dead to Rights 2 is ten times better than this. I wouldn't be suprised if you're back within 10 minutes and sick of playing it.
And Xevious needs to strongly consider finding new sources of information :D
But yeah, this game's in the running for the worst game of the past 10 years. Seriously, it makes Aquaman on XBox look like gold.

that's yahoo gaming, not that i know, but i wouldn't think they're too great with judging games....i've just always read past their reviews when looking on gamerankings.com....they may be very accurate, but i've always thought of them as a Maxim/Stuff type reviewing games
that said, USA today gave it a 70% :lol:
and the User Rating on gamerankings.com is 85%

Well...It hurts my eyes. The picture is way to dark so I can't really play any of it. Ive already had one of the Zombies get stuck in a door, but another one, that looked just like him, just appeared from the sky. I kid you not, he just fell from the sky!

Yeah....already.... Im a big fan of the movies, so I figured I'd give this a shot. If it wasn't for it being so damn dark maybe I could actually try and play it. Last time I checked 4 Shotgun shots to the head would make it atleast explode.

I picked it up and I would say it ok. Its nothing great but its ok.
Some of the weapons are too weak, pop up is bad at times,
some glitches... but I don't think it is to the point that it is unplayable.
I wouldn't suggest paying full price though, maybe when it hits 10.

I picked it up yesterday, it's actually pretty decent. It's not amazing or anything, but it holds it's own. Graphic-wise it looks good if you're standing still, framerate tends to chug alot (hovers in the 20-25 fps area), everthing looks really tight and it's easily a game thatr good only be done on Xbox (or PC). The controls are pretty mediocre, the aiming never feels right, no matter what sensitivity setting you have it on. Gameplay is pretty hit-or-miss: some missions are interesting trekks from point A to B, other missions are simple "kill everthing" type affairs. Overall I'd say it's an okay game, it isn't amazing, but it could be worth your money. It just depends on how big of a Zombie/FPS fan you are. If I had to give it a score, I'd give it a solid 3/5.

Picked up my copy today and it's decent. Single player is like any other generic fps, online is alright if you're bored with Halo 2 or Battlefield MC or any other FPS. Standard deathmatch, team deathmatch, and a mode called Invasion. Basically, it's you and other people (up to 4 in one game) working together to just plain ol kill zombies. You play by rounds, when you kill all the zombies in the game, then the next round starts. If you die, you'll have to wait til the next round starts before you can respawn. IMO, it would be a good pickup if it dropped to $10 or lower.
TeamXbox (who usually marks out for stuff like this) gave it a dismal 3.1 (http://reviews.teamxbox.com/xbox/1039/Land-of-the-Dead-Road-to-Fiddlers-Green/p1/). Ouch. ;o
