I'm pretty sure it is but with all the confusing names for ATI cards (XT, XL, Pro), can anyone confirm that the XT line is the high-end version?

Specifics - looking to upgrade from 9800 and am leaning towards an All-In-Wonder X800 XT (AGP) for $350 after tax/shipping, I know the 850 is the latest version but I had read it's not much of an improvement over the 800, counting the price bump.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Unless they just recently released another card the XT's are the high end for ATI. There are also the XT Platinum Editions as well. The highest is the X850XT PE. Hope this helps.

buy.com has it for much cheaper than 350 ( around 250 AR and a 15 dollar coupon). I saw this over at SD

You want to find one of those Sapphire GTO2.

So far one of the few places that has it left is here. (http://www.allstarshop.com/shop/product.asp?pid=12993&sid=74Q8M6MBN4G39K4WKWB5VU1LHNN76E4B) I don't know how reliable the store it.

These cards casn be software modded up to an X850XT. instruction (http://www.techpowerup.com/articles//overclocking/vidcard/127/1)

Yopu'll save yourself about a hundred bucks. That's if you have PCI Express.
