Hey all, DJ EPOCH HERE! Just wanted to thank you guys for listening to our production! The reason im yelling all over it is just to mock the fact that most RAP MIXTAPES have an insanely large echo all over the track. DJ KAY SLAY, FAT MAN SCOOP, FELLY FEL, other famous djs all over the U.S. do the same thing.


We have uploaded a version without my vocals :( for all of you who would like to enjoy it. A mixtape is meant to be one long continuous mix so thats why it cuts off sometimes.
We are real hip hop producers from L.A. who enjoyed the game that much. Most of my vocals were done at 2 am in a studio after the actual session was over ;) no script, all free style

COMPROMISED is the guys who actually made the track, i just yelled on it. haha

underground wise u coulda used like, LA symphony, visionaries, aceyalone, abstract rude, etc.

street wise, Knocturnal, mack 10, WC, kurupt

of course, outside of LA u got countless other artists w/ different styles,

hiero, mobb deep, wu tang, little brother, twista, bone thugs,

all different artists that coulda brought styles to the mix

instead, if the songs aint crunk, it's common and kanye west...

seriously, the choice of songs u used for this sucks. HARD.

haha, calm down, bro ... the whole thing was done in two days when i had the flu last week, it wasn't made with the intention of being an earth-shattering underground release. in regards to your selection of acappellas: we don't listen to the same artists. but to make you happy, i don't listen to any of the artists (except EPMD) on the mixtape either. the accappellas on the mixtape are not a reflection of the artists i listen to. i don't listen to young jeezy, i don't listen to david banner, but putting their music over mad-exaggerated SNES-orchestrated music with differing moods made it HILARIOUS to my friends and me (the contrast on the young jeezy record KILLS me). so you don't need to get all emotional over ray cash and jeezy being there, this is all a joke for fun. if they bugged you TOO much, you can simply download the instrumental version of the mixtape in a couple days. if i were to do a mixtape with acappellas of artists i love, it would've taken more than 2 days to put together, and you'd be damn sure that rakim, jay, and the game would be on it. thanks for the download, playor! -ali (from compro)

Yeah, without the DJ, it's a lot better. I'm not a big fan of rap, but I think it's pretty good.

I'd love to see some remixes (for curiosity's sake) with Final Fantasy 2 and Earthbound. I could supply the MP3's.
