I saw the commercial for FFX-2 a while back, and Tidus wasn't in it.

Did my wish come true? Did that wimpy little bastard die?

Been years.. but him and Auron (i think thats the name) were both some of the dream people that left once Sin was destroyed.

That made a LOT more sense when I was actually playing it.

You're thinking of the sixth sense.

Tidus was from a different Time period. He was brought to Yuna by Auron at the behest of Jecht (who was Sin) to defeat...Sin. Yeah, it made more sense when you played it, but not much more.

SHould spolier warnings be used on such an old game?

Actually, wasn't it that Tidus was part of the dream of the aeons. To break the cycle of the aeons being possessed by Yevon and Sin reviving, the aeons had to be destroyed by Yuna and company, therefore stopping the dreaming and making Tidus fade away.

Auron on the other hand was just a dead guy who was never sent to the farplane...kinda like Seymore.

It's been a few years, but I believe that's how it went.

What a strange place. You die, but your spirit remains & has physical form (like Auron). Tidus was actually a Summoned Creature same as Valefor & Ifrit & the whole city of Zanarkand.

Tidus actually died 1000 years before. What we saw in the game was his spirit, which after Yuna defeated Sin & Yevon, passed into the Farplane (heaven).
