NBA 2K6 League, anyone?

I've heard no mention of it yet, but does Craven or anyoen else plan to run an NBA 2K6 league on Live?

I don't have the game yet, but I am getting it Sunday as part of the TRU sale. I'd be more than happy to run the league, but honestly, it may be better for someone else who has more of a set schedule than I do.

I love the 2K leagues we'vehad here, and if this one does come into existence, for once I'd like to fucking finish one season. I know that at least some of the players from the last league can remain dedicated.

I'm not sure how many people have the game or how many would be in the league. For now, it's just an idea. Post here if you're interested, and feel free to leave any comments or suggestions.

P.S. I call my Chicago Bulls. ;) (since they don't suck so much in this year's game)

And yes, anyone who is sure they can be 100% committed to the league- which I will for sure run if we get enough serious players, unless Craven wants to run it again- can feel free to call a team. However, if Carven does continue as league owner this year, he will of course have the right to change any rules.

I'd be in for a short one. Up untile the first few weeks of December I can play. I'll take the Pacers if we do.

The game is really good though. Nearly all the annoyances I had with last year's game are gone. Shooters actually square up coming off of picks. The double team crap isn't so prevalent. Though rebounding can be really annoying in the game. I usually get out-boarded by nearly 10 boards a game. I don't know what the deal is with that. None of my guys can get the ball.

And the newly improved IsoMotion is great. No more right-stick arcadey non-sense. Good stuff.

Okay, I have the game now. If we can just get 7 dedicated players (so with me, we'd have 8) at least, we can do this.

Any suggestions for difficulty, quarter length, how many games, etc.?

I'll try to pick this game up on Thursday/Friday, when/if I get Far Cry. And if I am able to pick it up, I call dibs on the Heat. I'd call Phoenix, but yeah, they got rid of Q, 'nuff said.


Edit: Not enough time or patience to run another league. The last one fell completely on its face, some of it my fault. So feel free to run this league. As for the settings, I'd say All Pro at the lowest, probably a good setting to get a feel for where people are comfortable.

Nope, not yet. I haven't even given the game a rental yet. I haven't been around on Live for the better part of the last month. I am on very sporadic.

Wish I had time to do the league. I do think this year's game is the best sim basketball game yet. I'm up for a game here and there though. Pacers of course. Love that Jasikevicius coming off the bench.
