Does anyone know of a good way to get stickers off the labels of NES/SNES cartridges? Never worried about it before, but when I dug out my old SNES collection, a couple of the games I bought from [FuncoLand/GameWorld/etc] had some lovely stickers on the labels of the games themselves. Also got this problem when I just picked up Dragon Warrior at EB. Will things like GooGone be alright, or will those also try to take the actual label off?

Also, somewhat related, what's the best method to restick labels that are starting to peel?

Don't use googone, it's like putting water on it. What you can try, as long as anything has a little shiny coating to it as most do (don't do it on the cardboard ones with no shiny coating) is peel off the actual sticker, assuming it can be done without ripping the cardboard (some can, some can't). Then take some goo gone and wipe off some of the part remaining, then a second later wipe it dry. It may take a while, but that will get some stickers, if you can remove most of it (except the underneat, sticky part) by hand. It will also prevent the liquid from harming the cardboard.

I had some Blockbuster stickers on the labels of my snes carts but they simply came off without any trouble or residue. The SNES labels were quite tough. Althought simply peeling them off isnt a prefect method it has worked great for me.
