Correct! Thexder was ported to a whole heap of platforms (http://www.mobygames.com/game/thexder), including the Amiga, where I first played it, and the NES, where Squaresoft handled the port.

Disney Adventure in Magic Kingdom

I rented that game and that was the only ride I couldn't beat (I want to say it is Space Mountain). This was probably 15 years ago. :p

behold the mighty power of 4096 colors! it bummed me out when sierra stopped making games for the GS. i never did play the second manhunter.

I think the lack of HD made me a little bitter when I could at least use a 5.25 or 3.5 floppy on the 386. And, of course, we all had those 3.5 floppy disks that had about 20-40 different games on them. Just a matter of dir/w-ing them. Unless that was just me? My I was bored at OSU when my mom was doing grad work :lol:

This weekend, I'll scour my brain for some game shots.

An old school PC gamer I see.

1. Raptor Call of the Shadows(Apogee)
12. I don't know the name but it was a horrible go-kart game. I played the shareware.
13. Death Rally? Something like that, made by 3drealms, has duke nukem as a character in the screenshot
14. Terminal Velocity(Awesome game! Another great by 3drealms.)

I agree with Kaw, those kind of look like Raiden, especially #2 as Raiden II... I think I was just playing this at the local movie theatre. Had to kill time somehow... :roll:

The first three look similar, but they were made by different developers. None of them are in the Raiden series. #2 is the most recent of the three.

The system didn't have blast processing. It had MEGATON processing. AND flashing lights.

Also if you stayed up late at night you could watch it catch small insects, not unlike an angler fish.

Only football games I remember from that era are Joe Montana Football II and the madden series...

Looks a little like NFL Quarterback Club or Bill Walsh College Football... but again, probably not.

Either donkey kong or super donkey kong I forgot which name it is but its definitly an updated version of donkey kong for the gameboy. I loved that game every vacation I used to take my gameboy and this game was always in it.

The "spinning top" game must be an SNES game because it has L/R buttons listed. Additionally the wizard/eyes game looks like Apple IIE graphics. I scanned some titles but that's as far as I can get right now.

It looks more like a GBA game. I was going to guess a beyblade game (since it's the only game that seem to capitalize on the beigoma thing, but it doesn't look like any of them).

I used to play this all the time on Sega Channel. I even remember the NES-Punisher-style level that follows, where your character fires from the foreground into the background. I'll be damned if I can remember the name of the game though.

Kid Chameleon I loved that game. I remember getting that samurai helmet and just cutting tanks down it was awesome.

Yeah-yeah is right, LGOP is a text game. Apparently there's a sequel that has graphics, like an adventure game or something.

I googled around and eventually found the answer. At the time I wrote it, I thought for a second "Is it LGO Mars?" And thought about writing that.

I remember seeing the game in book stores in thin plastic cases, amongst others like Commander Keen and all those shareware platformers.

Yup, it's Sparkster on Genesis. Don't confuse it with the SNES Sparkster, as they are actually 2 different games. I'd like to see Konami bring this series back.

Close enough. It's Red Alarm. Red Alert is a strategy game for PC.

While I've never heard it by that name, I'll say you're correct on number 1. I always knew it as Wonder Boy III The Dragon's Trap. I know it was released under several different names, I've just never heard that one. That password in the manual is pretty neat. The best thing about it is that it let you play the game in human form (For those who don't know, the goal of the game was to become human again).

2 is indeed Drakkhen. I'm one of the few people who really liked it. Though I haven't played it in years, I probably will soon.

And yes, 9 is Maze Hunter 3-D.
