found a MINTY fresh persona and star ocean the second story :)! these things dont even have a scratch on them or anything, manuals, check..the only thing missing is the factory seal...and their virginity

got them at EB in the pallisades mall (nyack, ny (west nyack i think)
paid $15 for persona, $25 for star ocean

youch on that star ocean for 25. but that persona is a pretty good price. I think you payed just the right amount for them
Heh. I bought my Star Ocean 2 back a long time ago for $20 brand new...I played about ten minutes. Couldn't enjoy those battles!

lol me too rig. got mine at EB $20 new, but i suffered the game for close to 10 hours. it's amazing how similar in style the game is to Valkyrie Profile, even considering the same team did both. music, sound effects, sprites, everything.

I found Star Ocean: SS at my local pawn shop back home and got it for $12 pluss a free Legend of Dragoon (non GH) a few weeks ago.

I was up visiting one of my close friends in Utah last weekend and at the GS there, they had both Persona 2 and Puzzle Fighter for $30 each. I wished I wasn't so broke and walked right out the door.

You got raped on the Star Ocean price, mine cost a dollar and some change from a Pawn Shop...as well as Tactics Ogre. But that's another story.
Either way, i think it's cheaper on eBay, good price on Persona though.

Already on ebay? If you wanted SO to get past $25, you'd have better luck with a fixed price auction.

I've been looking to buy Star Ocean 2 on ebay (and on CAG, but that's another story)...
$25 isn't too bad a price; not amazing, but you certainly didn't get ripped off considering that it's mint.
To all you CAGers that seem to hate the game: sell it to me! I absolutely loved Star Ocean 2 and its battle system...and, like I said, nobody seems to want cool green cash for their unwanted copy.

personally star ocean for 25 is not that great of a find.. i got it sealed also long ass time ago for 15 instantly sold it.
