Hi guys and gals Noob here

Hi everyone , I am new to the forum an well just wanted to introduce myself , My game handle is usually Tigertunes which i have used in many online games e.g Everquest 2 ..Battlefield...SWG to name a few.

Away from the reality of gaming , in my regular life i am a 31 year young full time dad with 2 great kids , as you can imagine they take up a lot of my time, luckily i have 3 pc,s though and they both love computers so my online gaming doesnt suffer too much (am i a terrible dad hehe?).

Well i am on the lookout for a new game to play Everquest 2 in all its glamour and great graphics didnt quite live up to expectations as far as i was concerned , i guess give it a few years and it may have half the content of EQ1, Battlefield is were i am at now but i can only shoot the same old looking soldiers soo many times before i get bored.

Cut a long story short i am on the lookout for a new game to play so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated , I have signed up to Beta test a few games , fingers crossed i get a place in at least one.

Thanx for checking me and my post out i will scan the forums a little later to see what everyone else is playing

Looking for a new pc game to play, what type of games are you into , racing, fighting, action, action rpg?

I agree with City of Heroes. Unfortunitly with the ablitity to make 10 characters per server, its hard to keep in contact with new friends :O

Do you mean Civilization 4? I've Pre-ordered that... can't wait for it... played every Civ since Civ 1.

OP - I agree with Age of Empires 3, and F.E.A.R. got great reviews and, of course, Civilization 4. I intend to get Call of Duty 2 and Quake 4 eventually, maybe for Xmas.

Guild Wars is fun although I got tired of it after a while but it's easy to come back to between breaks and its got great graphics.

wizardry is my favorite rpg

my only new game purchase will be elder scrolls IV:oblivion

for goodness sake man, get on World of Warcraft. After putting up with all the hardships of EQ2 and SWG, you will find it very refreshing. Plus, you will have plenty of CAG's to play with and its only $30 at EBgames.com right now.

City of Heroes is also a good choice, but I don't think its as much of a long term game. After about 2 months, I've noticed that most people move onto something else.

Then check out guild wars if you dont want to devote huge amounts of time but want some MMORPG goodness. Its not as in depth as WOW, but thats what you want, Killing random monsters and some quality time with the kids!

Full time dad? That would be nice...I'd rather take care of the lil dude than work a job job type job any day! Welcome to the forums. I can't help you with PC gaming though.
