The display may say $69.99 or something rediculous, but it rings up at $9.99, good games, plus 2 month trial of XBL. Yeah, the circuit city deal was better, but this isn't bad.

if you call them and tell them you bought it brand new though, i think they'll still give you the 2 months free.

Yes, nearly free ($.01) is "BETTER" than $9.99.

Now, if only Jet Set Radio/Sega GT would drop from it's $100 price tag....

sammisaturn,
where are you at, I mean where is that CC at? I've been looking for that at all the CC around my area, L.A., and could'n't find one.
I tried getting it at cc but they wouldnt let me cause of that little green label that says not for individual re-sale.
I'll probaly pass because I bought it at EB used for $13 a couple of months ago. :(

I went to Circuit City and tried to buy it, but it has no SKU, so they couldn't scan it. Were the copies that you guys all bought still packaged? Or did you just get a dumb employee? I got a dumb one, but as soon as he saw there was no SKU, he went to his manager, who told him that he can't sell it without a new XBox. It would just be nice to know how to handle a situation like this for the next time.
Did they think you took it out of the package or something?

someone should tell best buy that after a $60 price break, their prices are still 999 times more expensive than circuit city

hehe I went to both Sam Goody and Gamestop for Tetris/Star Wars and both had it marked for (AND scanned) at $70. They both said you needed to buy it with the xbox.
Does that mean that technically I'm only paying $80 for a brand new system?
Well that would have to be the worst $70 you could spend.

This is just too much.
Not only did Star Wars/Tetris WOrlds scan at 69.99 but Jet Set Radio/Sega GT is STILL $100.
I hope this is a YMMV thingie.
