Net Connection

I'm about to move back into the world of broadband access. One of the features offered at my new spot is an "economy" connection. I called CSR and they said that it was 256kb down and 56kb up. I think the other connection speeds for more money is 3 mb down and 256 up. Can xbox live or pc games be played on that speed (the economy speed). is there anything hack wise that can remove the speed cap?

Also the company I'm bundling the services with is KNOLOGY. Anybody know good or bad about them. BTW the price difference between the economy and the step up is about $15.

Spend the $15 extra, you'll be much happier with it.

I'm not sure XBL would work with 256K DL / 56K UL, I think their "minimums" are 384K DL / 128K UL.

Definitely spend the extra $15, you won't regret it.
