View Full Version : Need help finding drivers for Geforce 5600 FX

Hey,
I can't seem to find drivers for my laptop's 5600 FX (googled and yahooed) so I was wondering if someone here could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Download the latest ForceWare 81.85 driver set from nVidia:
http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/81.85_whql/81.85_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql.exe

Extract it with WinZip or WinRAR to a new directory and replace the nv4_disp.inf with this one:
http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/infs/80series/8185inf/nv4_disp.inf
(you have to do this since nVidia does not include support for their laptop video chipsets in their driver sets)

Then run the setup.exe from that directory and you should be good to go.
