I am really looking forward to this game. My PC isn't buff enough to play that version, and I don't plan on buying a 360 at launch, so I'm hoping this is the last great Xbox game.

The price isn't what's pushing me away... it's the (blatantly obvious) lack of something that made the PC title popular.

Im getting it, i don't even have a PC of my own and I really wanna play HL2. Plus pc gaming sucks.

$29.99 for HL2 on PC with Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and HL2 Deathmatch.
$49.99 for HL2 on XBox with.. an instruction book and a receipt.

I don't know how you guys can still say "PC gaming sucks".. you could get a controller or something for it. And don't say "My PC can't run it!", i've seen it run on a 500mhz computer with a 16mb video card. Looked like two stick figures and an apple, but it still ran it.

The game won't even load if you don't have a suitable video card. I found that out in between buying HL2 for the PC, installing it and returning it to the store.
And my video card is fairly decent. The expensive one I used to have (which was a NVIDIA and would actually run games) burnt out. Quality stuff. :X
Not paying the asking price for a video card. I'd get a better deal buying a laptop or a new desktop, for that matter.
