Adobe Illustrator / Graphic Design: I need a tutorial for the impossible 'pen tool'

Anyone know of any comprehensive tutorials for the pen tool on Adobe Illustrator?

I missed the day we went over it in class and I can't figure it out on my own, in addition to not being able to find anything remotely close to a tutorial online.

Any help is appreciated!

awesome site that has pretty good tutorials...I go there and participate from time to time. Really good help, as long as you don't sound like a noob or sound like you have a pirated copy of it at home (don't ask questions like, I don't have the manual so how do you do this simple command?)

I did some reading out of my text book, too, and I'm starting to catch on. I can't organically use the pen tool quite yet, though. It's still a little alien to me. ;o

the pen tool takes some getting used to, its one of the ahrder tools to learn but once you do its awesome.

I prefer the pen in Photoshop, but Illustrator's is obviously more efficient. I've got it down rather well, PM me if you have Q's.
