Avatars not displaying

This one's weird, I dunno if it's been reported. Sometimes instead of an avatar, I see the words "Username's avatar".. so it'll say "Scorch's Avatar", then i'll hit refresh and my avatar will show up. This has only happened the past two or three days, since the switch.. anyone else having this problem?

Yea, I have this problem at times as well. Maybe it has something to do with where the avatars are being hosted?

I'm noticing that a lot. Not with mine, personally... unless other people see "Saucy Jack's avatar" and I'm the only one able to see mine.

Maybe it's a bug with the server.

Perhaps there should be an option for off-site linking to avatars to prevent server problems.

I can see most of the avatars in this thread, but other ones have the same problem as described.

Well I can't repeat the error so it's hard to troubleshoot. Being as how on a refresh they appear I will assume it's apache. We have yet to optimize apache for the high overhead this site requires. This will come in the next couple days.
