maybe YMMV, but the ebgames next to my school is having the offer until the end of month, select items only though. Time to get rid of those unwanted, unfinished games.

I bet the select items are your trade-ins, not the reward.

I'll call the local EB when they open in a few hours. Probably strict as hell with the exclusions anyway.

The only deal going on right now is any 3 used games for trade-in credit plus an additional $10 bonus - which may add up to a free game, but it's not a straight-up trade.

My EB has a bunch of signs that say "Get this game free by trading in your old games. Ask how." When you ask, they tell you that you get it free if the value of the tade-in is equal to the price of the the game. This may be what the OP is referring to. They also said they are not running any trade in "x" number of games and get one free deals. That was on Saturday 5/8. It may be a new promotion but seems unlikely with the previous one still going on ($10 extra dollars for each 3 games traded in).

Well, no shit I can get the game if my trade ins equal the value of the game. That's just common sense. I hate stupid store promotions.

Well, I traded in Skies of Arcadia, Mario Sunshine, and Burnout 2, and I got Mario Kart.
I got Skies for $19.99, Mario for free, and Burnout2 for $19.99, so I think it's worth the trade.

That's exactly what the guy told me at my EB. He said that the corporate people make them put the stickers on there. He said that he tries to not put it on too many games though, because people always ask about it.

I think we are still doing the one on Zelda Four Swords (it was 4 or 5 games though)

This deal wasn't occuring the last time I work which was Tuesday. The only deal was the one people have listed: trade in 3 get an extra 10.
