trade-in prices are fairly synchronized at this point. though a trade 3 get 30% extra does start on the 30th i believe at EB, so maybe go for that.

Cash? Maybe $50.
Edit- Well with what rocksolid said you will end up with an extra 10% on the full trade in amount, so that would end up better.

I need cash not store credit,
Then sell them here or on ebay! Geez, EB gives 50% of whatever they trade in at, you'd get like.. $50 in credit, $25 in cash. Sell them here and quadruple that!

You might wanna check your local fye store and affiliates to see if they give out cash for trade ins (if you have on, that is).

here is a rough estimate for EBGames, however I think Gamestop will be the same since the two companies just merged. They prob updated all their prices and trade in prices to be around the same.
PS2:
Spawn Armegeddon $1.00
Hot Shots Golf Fore! $3.00
Scooby Doo: Night of 100 Frights $5.00
Enter The Matrix $2.00
Viewtiful Joe $2.00
Viewtiful Joe 2 $3.00
Prince Of Persia Sands Of Time $3.00
Ghosthunter $4.00
Bloodrayne 2 $2.00
The Simpsons: Road Rage $4.00
Sly 2: Band Of Thieves $5.00
Gladius $4.00
The Punisher $4.00
PSP:
Twisted Metal: Heads On $12.00
Coded Arms $15.00
Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee $15.00
Archer Maclean's Mercury $12.00
*Keep in mind Cash = 20% off trade in credit price so if Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee was $15.00 it would end up being $12.00 cash
, and until 10/31 for every 3 games (PS2/PSP/XB/GC) traded in you get 25% more trade in credit so that could help out with the cash deduction.

its so fucked if u think about it like 500 dollars in games half a year later could be worth like 20 bucks.
This industry needs a change

you're right
every game should stay at $50 retail forever

na but as the way things are right now 50 games are only worth 35 after the first day of sale.
The process should be slower it should take more time for these games to lower in value.
It shouldnt be sold 40 dollars when u can only get a trade in for 3.99
Game trading stores need to run by retail stores pricing not just what they feel is old.

Perhaps get a cash advance on your paycheck?

It doesn't matter where you work, you just have to show proof of employment.
These are the requirements to get a cash advance at Check 'n Go:
If you are employed and have:
A regular, verifiable source of income.
A working phone.
An active checking account.
You just need to show us:
Your most recent pay stub (Customers visiting stores located in Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and customers obtaining an on-line loan must also provide their most recent bank statement)
Proof of current address (phone or utility bill)
Drivers License or State I.D.
Your checkbook
They have a store locator on their website, so anyway, good luck.

I do appreciate you trying to help, but I don't have a state I.D. or drivers license so I can't do anything with that, thanks though.

You would get a lot more out of Blockbuster. They merger the prices and gamestop's prices are crap.

This is an extremely sad post . . . trying to turn games into quick cash is a losing proposition. I'd say that 12 of those PS2 games are PO at EB . . . today that would translate into 4 $40 new copies of GT4 which would be worth $160 in EB credit! (if you could return them . . . YMMV)
I agree that BB is probably you're best bet for cash, but I'd be surprised if you got much more than $60 in cash for all of this stuff . . . what a waste!

Trust me I know, but there's really no other option right now, and honestly, the only games I play anymore are the games I'm keeping, and I care enough about my baby to where I'm gonna make sure she has a great time at her homecoming at the cost of losing a dozen of my games.
