Out of 40,000, I think I could name about 30-40. So for every 1,000 registered users, it seems that one person will spend entirely too much time on this site.

I never realize the CAG number..... hey Cheapy make a contest for girls and guys (separate). If you did go with the DS idea Pink and Blue or whatever. Okay that generalization of pink and blue wouldn't matter just going with more of the girl and guy idea.

How about a contest where everyone, all 40k, have to post on a specific thread. A time limit will be set and all who dont post gets deleted.... all who do post get a cheapy D accessory as such...

Congrats on hitting a milestone Cheapy!:applause: I can see it reaching 50k before xmas already.
As for the contest, it should be something you can get only in Japan. Also it should somewhat represent the 40k CAG's. How about having a Japanese item equal to 40,000 yens? That translate to about $340 US I believe or even better have a buncha stuff that add up to that much so more than 1 person can win.;)

You need to put up restrictions on viewing threads:
You let people post in lets say all forums except the whole deal one, and they can't look at it.
Each post they do gets them some currency and then they can purchase the rights to first making threads, and then one to replying to them.
That way people would have to learn and embrace the community.
And make sure theres a anti-spam-post blocking thing too :D
