Technically I guess there isn't an MSRP, but come ON! Can you still get this directly from Nintendo? If not, then I guess they're treating this one like a collectible, and the lack of an MSRP (as it is supposed to be promo-only) lets them get away with it since they don't have to compete. I've seen this price at B&M as well as the web site.

In any case, I sure am glad I got mine with the GameCube.

that is ridiculous!! i bought mine overpriced on ebay when it first came out for 34.95 which was bad enough!!! but this is insane.

then again, if you add up thier prices for the individual games...

Saw this last night....Laughed out loud in the middle of the store. Then I laughed at the 44.99 I saw on the Master Quest package.

I would much prefer they used the "Midway Theory"

MSRP for original home version of Mortal Kombat: $74.99
MSRP for original home version of Mortal Kombat II: $74.99
MSRP for original home version of Mortal Kombat 3: $74.99
MSRP for original home version of NBA Jam: $74.99

Now if you use the "EB Games theory," the upcoming Midway Arcade Treasures 2 (which contains all the above games + others) would retail for... let's see... well, at least $299.96... But thank God Midway is selling it with an MSRP of $20 when it comes out. No shenanigans from EB on that one!

Dont get me wrong, im not condoling it, im just thinking of how they could do that...devils advocate if you will. Another idea is the fact that its limited, whereas midway is not

Hmm, well, I've seen the Collector's Disc for $29.99 used at GameStop before. If you're in the market for one, I think I'd try there first.

I'm glad I have 2 copies, one I got with my $20 NP sub and one I got for free after registering 3 games... I couldn't believe how much these were going for on fleabay when it first came out.

Anybody know how much they give in store credit for the game? Also for Master Quest?

Not sure if this is accurate now, but on black friday I went to trade in my Masters Quest version and only got $15 for it. thought I would at least get $20 for it because of the $45 price tag they had on Master's Quest but sadly no.

And you wonder why the collectors on this site make fun of all of you for even considering trading in games.
