Birthday is in just a couple of days and I have no idea what to ask for. Video games NOT included (I have what I want and I don't want my family to blow $50 on a game I can get for $20 anyway), anybody got any suggestions?

What would you ask for if it were your birthday? (Let's try to keep suggestions under $500)

An iPod would be nice, as would any other MP3 player... :D

What are your other interests besides gaming? Do you read? What kinds of music do you like? A bit of info would be nice...

I'd definitely swing cash. Even if you don't want games currently right now, chances are there'll be shitloads that are being premiered at E3 and by the end of this year with the dozens and dozens of awesome games coming out, you'll want at least a few. And not to mention the DS and PSP if you're into that. And besides, cash is good for the cheapass deals you'll find here.
Or you could get some electronic crap for your room like a bigger TV, stereo system, etc

Hmm. For my birthday? Well, a bottle of good Scotch would be nice. Or the Airzooka (http://www.thinkgeek.com/cubegoodies/toys/60b6/) from Think Geek. I wouldn't mind some money being donated to the next Penny-Arcade Child's Play drive in my name. Possibly a season DVD set for either Upright Citizen's Brigade (http://www.uprightcitizens.org/) or Strangers With Candy (http://www.jerriblank.com/swc.html). One of Lance Henriksen's pottery creations, though his site is down for retooling now, the papillon bowls he had were hella great (see here (http://members.iinet.net.au/~vangoth/lhrp/pottery/).)
