You're playing Pitfall Harry, running through obstacles, and suddenly you stop. The camera moves back-n-forth like it's attached to a swing.

You start running. Again the camera swings wildly.

Ugh. The world is spinning.

I feel seasick.

Stupid camera. Once again a game is ruined by a poor camera. Who at Activision thought a wildly swinging camera was a good idea? All it does is make the viewer dizzy.

Pitfall Harry? That was the Pitfall game released this generation. You're probably thinking of Pitfall 3D: Beyond The Jungle, a largely forgotten PSX game.

Is this how we will br from now on? We all have so many backlogged games and movies that, 10 years from now, I'll make a thread that says: "Luigi's Mansion.....SPOILER WARNING!!!!"? I seriously think this is the case.

It does make for fun reading, though. Pitfall Harry is the first Indiana Jones. I think.

Pitfall Harry? That was the Pitfall game released this generation. Nope. It's called Pitfall: The Lost Expedition for the PS2/Xbox/Cube. ----- And if you were confused, the "PS1" in the title more than clarifies which version I was talking about (pitfall 3d).

Anyway, the camera moves like it's attached to a drunken sailor. Makes me feel seasick. Damn shame too 'cause it's a very very fun game that manages to recapture the feel of Pitfall 1 or 2 on the Atari. PLUS it has great voice acting! (a true rarity) from Brisco County Junior himself (Bruce Campbell).

If this PS1 game is "largely forgotten", it shouldn't be, because it's better than nearly all the other crap PS1 platformers.
