Which game is better? How is online for both of these? Only going to get one so it has to be one or the other. Which one is better in your opinion? Is BF2: MC online been fixed yet? Does it lag? Same for the other game too. Thanks!

Easily BF2:MC read the BF2 thread the game is crap. I played it yesterday for along time with some friends over and we had zero lag. The only bad thing we had was those idiots throwing up a ton of 2/14 3/12 kill/death ratio games and killing my stats big time. lol i'd be mad if I really was concerned with that stuff.

For me Battlefront 2 is the better choice because I can play system linked games. Battlefield 2 does not feature this because its a new way for microsoft to force people to pay for live by offering multiplay via live only. Sad state of affairs if you ask me I like to have friends over and play video games. For those stuck in a basement somewhere live must be great. Assuming your mother lets you use her credit card.

Modern Combat is the worst rendition of Battlefield. If you're going to play BF2, get a PC that can run it and buy the PC version.

For single player, go with Battlefield: MC.
For multi player, go with Battlefield 2.
Simple as that.

I thought both were just average. I found LAG in both games online. Both were average....I like them, but nothing that said WOW to me.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Battlefield 2 on PC is so superior to Modern Combat it's not even funny. If your PC can run BF 2 you owe it to yourself to get that. Wake Island 2007 ftw, too bad you wont see that in Modern Combat LOL~

Battlefield MC, simple as that. Until they can fix the lag issues with Battlefront (which I doubt because the 1st game still lags like hell), I would stick with BF MC.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is a great multiplayer game, just give them some time to iron out the lag and medal/stat issues. I never liked any Star Wars themed game but it got mixed reviews.

He's talking about Battlefront 2, not Battlefield 2 like others seem to be talking about as well.

If you played SW Battlefront 1 to death, don't bother with BF2. You'll get bored very quickly. However, if you get it for a console and have friends that will play with you, it's a fantastic co-op game.

Yeah I read that as Battlefield 2 as well. It's the same thing with Silent Hill and Shadow Hearts, Soul Calibur and Splinter Cell, and I'm sure there's more games out there with similar abbreviations.
If you want to hear a mixture of opinions, I'd have to say that both titles look bad.
Look into something else.
I was going to buy BattleField 2... until I read all of the reviews.

I played it for PC and yeah its very overrated. I'd definetly get MC over this game on Xbox.

Never played the PC game, but this seems to be popular opinion.
I've played the Xbox demo a few times. As a free demo, it's cool... as a $50 purchase, I dunno. I'm sure this'd be a killer $20 title, or something.
The game seems a little inconsistent, too, with a lot of luck / chance thrown in.
I was going to get this title at the buy 2 get 1 sale at Toys R Suck; but the V-Zone cocksucker claimed it didn't come out until December. :lol:

After playing both again today....I think I like Battlefield a bit better. I always liked war games better.....abd Star Wars just seems average still. I was playing the flying mission on LIVE....horrible.
