I didn't even know they made this, but lo and behold, DDR for your TV! It doesn't need any consoles or games; you just plug and play, apparently. Still a good deal even if you have consoles IMO since the games are at least $20 and pads are another $20.

That is pretty cool. This is much cheaper than buying DDR pad + game for console. Only downside is, I don't see anything on there about 2-player mode. I also don't know about the quality but the price is pretty good.

Just so everyone knows, this is not an official DDR game and isn't really like the real games. The sounds are supposedly all midi files (intrumental) and the graphics supposedly look like an 8-bit Nintnedo game.

Is this official DDR? I'm going to guess that it isn't, and therefore, it probably sucks.

I have seen these in my local swapmeets and the music is terrible. The footwork doesn't match the music. Its not fun.

However, good find OP. Great for the little ones, not for advanced or older audiences.

I had one similar I bought at a flea market for....3.00....I wound up throwing it away cause it was so fucking horrible.

Terrible. Not fun. Not good for little ones. You've all got consoles; grab a game and mat bundle. It'll be $35 more, but that $35 will go so, so far.

They made a Celine Dion song on there. Thats enough for me to pass.

It's probably the Dancemania version with Deja Vu featuring Tasmin. Not that anyone would be able to tell the difference with the sound quality so bad but I hated the original version by Celine Dion but the Dancemania version is faster and I would call it tolerable (not something I would go out of my way to listen to but if it's on the Dancemania CD I am listening to, I wouldn't neccessairly skip over it)

I agree, you shouldn't buy it if it has a song or two you don't like, since they have a Konami representative come to your house and hold a knife to your throat, forcing you to play only the songs you hate.

Oh, wait. You can choose what songs you play.

I was kidding, of course. I still wouldn't buy this, but maybe its good for people who don't have any DDR.

It isn't really that much more for the real DDR, so everyone just avoid this piece of garbage.

I just saw this at my mall today. I was interested until I heard the HORRIBLE music and saw the TERRIBLE graphics to go with it.

DO NOT BUY THIS POS. It's a wonderful idea badly implemented.
