There wasn't really much the jumped out at me, but they did have 3 copies of Front Mission DS. I snagged one of those, so it ended up being $17.49 + tax. The Target @ HW75 and 71st is open. Too new to have any clearance stuff, but they did have 5 copies of Guild Wars: Eye of the North for the reported $9.99 and 4 copies of LotR Battle for Middle Earth II for PC for the same price.

A new Best Buy is going in at that same shopping center.

Checked the Hollywood Video at the SW corner of 81st and Harvard during lunch. It closes in 4 days (which I think would be at the end of the day Saturday, unless they're counting wrong). Everything left is 70% off. Previously viewed movies are $4.49 each if they're newer, older ones are $2.99 each. They have full sets of some series, like Futurama, but keep in mind that they have them split out so they're $4.49 per disc. Video games are $6 each...they only had some original XB, PS2, and a few GC games. Some are still shrinkwrapped. 2 PC games for $3 each, UT2004 and Everquest II, I think. EQII's seal was broken, though, so buyer beware. Lots of candy. Some Halo 2 action figures.

They had all new releases marked down to $.50 and library titles to $.25 Cleaned up! Got three full seasons of 24 and partial of seasons of 30 Rock, How I met you mother. Only 1 disc short of having full seasons of Alias seasons 2, 3, 4. Any idea how to get the missing disc for each lol? Still, couldn't resist getting almost an entire season of alias for $1.50. It was the 81 Harvard location. They didn't have a LOT left, especially big-hitters like stardust ( I would have bought multiple copies of that lol). Did pick up some lower new releases though for $.50 like Joshua, Brothers Solomon, New Wave, Civic Duty, Strays, Tad Hamilton, Day Watch etc. etc. and a lot of library titles and tv shows. I couldn't resist buying the incomplete seasons; most are only 1 disc short. However, I have no clue how I could possibly acquire JUST the missing disc, without finding another closing store. Thoughts? And yeah, if you call the bixby let me know. If I find a number and call tomorrow, I'll post, but my phone's been frizzin' lately.

If anyone is looking for a cheap copy of Elite Beat Agents, the Super Walmart off of I-240 in South OKC had the Game-N-Go EBA bundles marked down to $5.00 each. These are the bundles that come with the extra styluses and the DS pouch. I was there on Saturday, and they had at least 10 of them still. Most were in the video game section at the very bottom of one of the glass cases. There were also several hanging from one of the DVD/CD center aisle endcaps near the register in the Electronics area.

If anyone is looking for the recently clearanced Odin Sphere ($17) at Circuit City, the 21st/Yale location had two at noon today. Anyone who has been there knows how horribly unorganized they are and nothing is where it should be. One copy was in front of the Ice Age 2 marker, the other in front of the Stuntman Ignition marker.

It's been too long since I've been to any of the locations to mention what may have been there...hazy memory plus anything mentioned may not be there anymore, so I'd hate for anyone to make a trip based on old sightings only to be disappointed. In other news, the CC at 41st still has the 2 copies of Odin Sphere available for $11.36 this week. They've been moved to the bargain bin, though. There's also still 3 copies of Marvel Ultimate Alliance [Wii] left, also for $11.36 each.

In a move that absolutely floored me, it appeared that someone had done a little bit of work organizing parts of the video game section at the 41st CC. Must be the first time in literally 9 months. Recently clearanced games were actually in the bargain bin, tagged with the clearance price. Astonishing. The PS2 and DS sections were still crap, though. I don't have time to dig through the usual mess, so I take UPC barcode printouts with me now. Not gonna dig if they don't got it!

EDIT: Forgot to mention the 71st/Mem CC has 2 copies on Kameo in the clearance bin...a Platinum Hits and an original.

I haven't heard whether it is or not, since I rarely rent movies, I haven't been paying much attention to it. Actually, I haven't rented anything from HV in about 6 years. They used to send me coupons for rent up to 3 games for $0.99 each. When they quit giving me coupons, I quit renting from them.

I didn't pay any attention to Lair, but the Norman Target doesn't even have The Simpson's on PS3 on clearance yet. I checked the self-scanners, and it was still $49.99. There were lots of things marked with the clearance tags...I was impressed.

I'd also be interested in The Simpson's on PS3 or 360 if it's $20 or less.

In the corner, only one copy and it was greatest hits version.
The 71st Target marked down all their clearance games, but they were all in the 29.98 range (sports games, lair and orange box ps3). They managed to move their one copy of blue dragon at 41.98 it appears.

I don't know about you guys, but these best buys in tulsa are getting very bad. The 71st one had a table for clearance games, but now they are gone and haven't put games on clearance in forever. More importantly, they moved DOAX2 on the 360 from the 4.98 clearance back to the MSRP of 39.99. I don't know if the media managers have just taken the stance of no clearances on anything, or what... but it's kinda sad. It seems like they've refused to put out clearance stuff >.<''

Simpsons and MoH on the ps3 marked down to 29.98 at the 21st target. Hopefully they will go down next week, been looking forward to starting the simpsons game. I did see the PoTC 512mb-internal media player marked from 99.99 to 29.98 at the 71st, one left. The 71st also had 3 copies of Sea Monsters on the Wii.


No 250gb external hds, zunes, Lair ps3, 2-pack portable dvd players or xbox 360 wireless adapters at either 21st or 71st on clearance. At least I got my grocery shopping done -_-''

Also, Gamecrazy at 101st & Elm had a stand outside today for used games 3 for 10. Not sure if it was a memorial day sale or just putting their stuff outside. Since all I have is a gamecube, i skimmed over but it might be worth check out.

Was going to suggest Hastings as well. They usually always run deals on CD Trades as well.

Depending on the CD. they will typically net you .25 - 1.50. The same for DVDs.

Dang, I was at that sears yesterday. I should have picked up a copy of Virtua Tennis. While I was there I picked up a PS3/PS2 Memory Card adapter for $4.99 (normally $18.99). I picked up one but I'm pretty sure they had a couple left.

I haven't seen any at either the 21st/Yale or 71st/HW169 locations...although I'm not exactly looking for it, so if it was still locked in the case, I would've missed it. Maybe the HW75 location'll finally bump it down this week?

The 360 games that are tagged clearance there'll ring up cheaper than marked in most cases. Some will ring up 'price req'. The 'price req' ones they may refuse to sell to you, will sell to you for the tagged price, will sell to you for 10% of the original price, or for $1 each. Depends on the cashier/manager you're dealing with. My experience at the 51st/Harvard location is either 10% off the original or $1.

The 71st/HW169 and I44 Best Buys have a lot of Nyko Perfect Shots (Wiimote accessory) in stock. The I44 Best Buy also had about 10 Wiis on the floor near the car audio department. This was around 3:30 this afternoon.

Sockey, you might try calling up the Cimmaron or Owasso gamestop and see if they have any used copies. They were only 26.99 or 29.99 there (and you can get 20% off with a card/coupon). That is how I got mine, and it was complete. Our wal-marts don't really prioritize game price drops like some others.

Finally managed to snag a decent clearance deal at a Wal-Mart. The Wal-Mart off of I-240 in OKC has several games in its glass cases that were all marked for $14.00.

Guess I should be paying attention to that thread for the 40% liquidation. I'm usually over that way once a week or so for Wing Stop or the like, so I'll check around and post any finds. It's a shame that most of the decent stuff will have already been picked over by that point (and sadly anything worth buying at 10% (TVs, etc.) is probably cheaper online anyway).

I wasn't really looking for systems, but the only ones I remember seeing were PS2s. Games being 10% off is worthless, cause I've already got the Gamer's Club card. DVDs at 20% off is nothing special, since Deep Discount's got 25% off right now (and is already cheaper before discounts on most stuff). There's not going to be anything left when the liquidation hits 40% or higher.

That is how CompUSA was, man. The only thing that was left by 40% were some fixtures, last years sports games still tagged at full price and like a few TVs still hovering at 20%. 10% is barely getting no-tax... why not save and use the tax-free weekend when they actually have deals + no tax, is what i always wondered.

Yeah the compusa was pretty terrible. I figured the CC big items were gone, which really doesn't make sense because on CC's regular price on stuff, a 20% discount might bring it down to actual street prices, hence why I haven't gone yet. Probably won't find anything anyway.
