I dont want subs, i want to buy an english version DVD. Did it ever come out yet or will it ever come out?

Actually I think the english dvd is slated for a holiday release. But they could've changed that.

Had a Newtype DVD with a trailer citing a Nov. release... but here we are and I haven't heard more, so I dunno if it'll happen.
More importantly- the trailer was subtitled. So if it does come out by the end of the year, there's a good chance they're won't be a dub track.
Just so ya know.

Where did it come out? I have downloaded every version I could possibly find and they only have Eng subtitles. They haven't even gotten the english voices down yet.

he didnt bother reading completely before answering, he was too excited to show off how L337 he is.
no dub track, and honestly, you wouldnt want a fandub track. (i mean, you think the story is nonsense *now*, imagine with non-professional voicework...)
can you please explain though why you absolutely need this movie dubbed in english when you spent 40-70 hours reading everything said in the game it's based on?

Reading subs while not missing anything is a skill that surely develops over time. Being semi-fluent in Japanese helps, too. ;)
BTW, has the English voice cast been decided on yet?

That's very considerate of you. After all, women are less-educated than us men, and they shouldn't have unrealistic expectations like reading put upon them in addition to all of those household chores they have to get done.

As far as I know, only a subtitle pack is available for Divx. I don't know if I'd want a Final Fantasy fanboy dub. Not saying that I downloaded and watched it or anything.. but I've "heard" that the translation job on the subtitle is of excellent quality.
Just get some people to get shitfaced at your house, and have them read the words out loud on the bottom of the screen. At least that'd be funnier than a fanboy dub
