Sorry for this dumb question but I searched google and couldnt find anything helpful on this. So does anyone know of a way to transfer Xbox game saves to another xbox? Please post if you have any ideas. Thanks in advance.

i would assume it could be done with a memory card. i've never tried it though, so i can't say for sure.

Yea but I'm not buying a Memory Card for a 2 second use. Also some game save. KOTOR and stuff are like 5000 blocks.

Can't you use the Xbox media center to transfer data back and forth ? then again that'll cost you a bit more than a memory card :/

Memory cards should be returnable at most non-game retailers (Wal-Mart, Target, CC, BB). Normally, I wouldn't encourage this but a memory card is the only way I know of to do it and $30 (I think) is way too much for a one time use. If the files are big just transfer one at a time. The card should have enough memory.

There is no way to transfer game saves other than those that can be copied to a memory card. Unfortunately, there have been a ton of games lately that have not supported memory card saves. The only way to do what you want to do (transfer KOTOR and other big saves) is to mod your Xbox.

And even that can be hard. My brother in law has my Burnout 3 save on it from hours of play and he has a mod chip with avalaunch software and we tried for like and hour to try and transfer the save to my box or a memory card with no luck.
you dont have to mod your xbox. All you have to do is mod a controller so it will accept usb drive. The only problem is game like Ninja Gaiden, which you have to hex edit the save file first.

How do you hex edit a save file that's on a non-modded Xbox?

for small files a memory card. For large files you will need to mod both xboxs
