Anyone get the new Fatlip CD?

Shit!? I didn't know he was coming out with a new cd?! I love the pharcyde and he was my favorite member as well, last thing of him I heard was he released that single "What's up fatlip" or something along those lines.

"What's Up Fatlip?" is on the disc. It's been getting pretty good reviews but I'd love to hear your impressions. Let's hope it's more Bizarre Ride than Plain Rap...

Was a pain in the ass to find, but I got a hold of it finally. Went to bestbuy, sold out. Went to Circuit City, never heard of it. Target, won't even bother posting what happened there. On my way out stopped into FYE and saw one copy left. Was elated, anyways after listening to it I have to say I'm really enjoying the cd.

You know how normally you find yourself skipping over tracks you don't like, haven't done it with this one so far but I was only about 5-6 songs in. Anyways going to listen to it while I play some WoW.

it's REAL good! one of my favorite of the year,

but it does have its problems.

one, too many skits.

there's like a skit in between each of the 19 tracks, the album is only like 49 minutes.

two, chorus's tend to be kinda weak sometime,

regardless they DO grow on you and u jus enjoy the song.

finally, he has a song about his baby momma followed by TWO songs about getting ladies.

seriously... and the 2nd one isnt even that good.

but whatever, dope rhymes and beats. ratings would give it at least 3.5/5, I give it a 4/5.

regardless, it's in my top 5 of 2005...

o yeah! and I saw him live last saturday!

it was tite coz there was a mom there with her children, 3 of them

like 5/6, 7/8, and 10/11 in age or something

and fatlip let them be on stage with him

(the 2 older ones, the youngest was shy)

and they knew all the words to like Runnin and Passin me By and stuff so they were singing along on stage.

Yeah it's great, you have to watch the dvd though. I'm fucking laughing my ass off he's talking about the time he picked up a tranny and she gave him head. Hilarious shit, it's cool as hell to see someone so honest and you find yourself relating to him.
