If I want Mario Party 7, would it be a better deal to get the bundle?

I borught the last 3 Mario Party games at full price, and I think they are worth it. Now it seems like it might be a better deal to get the bundle and ebay the stuff I dont need. I already got 3 controllers, so I should get around $25-30 if i sell the two extra controllers. Also there is a $20 rebate from EB games if I buy a game that's $30, so in end I could keep the gamecube + mario party 7 + another game for a decent price.

Is there any problem with what i am planning to do? Or is it better to just use GGC at BB and buy mario party 7?

It may just be me but this is a little confusing and needs more detail.

So you want to:
Buy Bundle 100
Buy Game +10
Sell 2 Controllers -50
$60 Dollars for:
Gamecube, Mario Party 7, and another game.

Sounds like a good deal if I did that correctly.

Keep in mind that ebay fees would probably eat any money you'd actually save.

It would work well if you were able to sell the controllers for that much, but that's assuming you'll get retail price for open box items. And as someone already mentioned, that's not counting the auction listing fees. More power to you if you can pull it off, though.

Then again, you could just sell your original GCN and a controller on eBay for a pretty high price and use the proceeds towards buying the bundle.

That is a lot of work for very little. Also, it's going to take a while to get your $20 back from EB. If you have a lot of money up front and don't mind the wait/hassle of ebay (and probably paypal) i say go for it. But if i were you, I'd just leave the bundle and get the game with GGC.

Taking the game out of the box may really lower the cost of the gamecube. Last year, they also did a bundle with Mario Kart: DD and that sold for around 90.00 on ebay (for me), but when I took the game out of the bundle it dropped 30.00. So expect 60.00 for the Gamecube WITH a controller. Throwing an extra indigo contoller on ebay with net you about 6.00 so expect after selling fees to come away with 65.00 total. One tip would be to charge 15.00-20.00 for shipping (it should only cost about 7.00 to ship, but that covers your ebay and paypal fees).

If all the work is worth it, then I guess you can consider the game 15.00 off.

I was thinking about doing this for Mario Party 7 alone and selling the rest of the stuff (Gamecube and both controllers). I would think that could get me MP 7 for about $25 with a little bit of work.
