I'm a full time college student and work about 30 hours a week, so my time to work out is limited. I figure that if I get DDR and a mat, I could get a nice work out in in my room and not have to worry about walking across campus to the gym. I've only played DDR at a friends house, and liked it when i did. I've got a cube and an xbox in here and was wondering if anyone had any advice on what version to get/mats/etc. Also, if anyone knows of a good website with like a workout guide on it or something, that would be great. Thanks.

Wouldn't know about Xbox version, but the Cube version has a calorie counter sort of thing. I haven't used it much but you set up a user and I suppose it counts calories over time. That might work out for you. I showed the game to my mom/older sister and that was the first thing they got really interested in (losing weight).

Get Ultramix 3 for XBox. The official songlist was just posted and it looks awesome for a US mix. Here is the link to the songlist: http://www.konami.com/gs/newsarticle.php?id=649

DDR can be a great workout, if the calorie counter is accurate, if you play some of the more difficult songs like Maxx Unlimited or Max 300, they can easily burn 50 - 60 calories in a 90 second song.
