Yeah at 10 mil, they bought his contract out for 3.5, however there's speculation they might resign him at a smaller price, I will be heart broken if this guy doesn't come back! If he came back and batted cleanup, played all year and won the WS MVP in a repeat effort for the Sox, SERIOUSLY I'd die a happy man!

they bought him out for 3.5 million. Mainly because he has been injured the past two years
