Okay, I know I could ask someone on an anime board but I'm not registered at any so I will ask here since so many people talk about anime on here anyway...
There was this anime, think it was a tv series expanding like 13 episodes. Basically, all I recall is a little girl who wakes from a coma in the distant future and befriends robot humanoid people and just wanders the decayed earth. Or something very close to that as I don't recall the exact details. Any ideas?

Damn, I don't know that one... can you remember anything else about it?

The girl was really, really young. And while it does have some humor it was not a comedy. It was also never very big over here in the states and not on tv or anything, just a quiet dvd release. I don't recall anything else and some of what I said may be inaccurate.

Can you recall what year you saw it in? It would narrow the list as a "girl waking up in a coma in a post-apocalyptic future" is too vague. Also would you say the art style is like Speed Racer (old skool) or Cowboy-Bebopish (modern/new skool)

It was made in the last 10 years and I saw it about a year ago or so.

No prob, you actually gave a pretty acurate and exact description so it was alot easier. Most of the time when people want to know a title to something, the hardest thing is figuring out what they are describing.

Kurogane communications was painful to watch until the last episode, which almost made it all better. FYI its 26 12 minute episodes.
It was a little too, here in postapocalyptic world we help our friends out and share things, that's the lesson of the day!
