View Full Version : How far to you travel to take a SHIT at WORK? (another javeryh poop thread)

I know I have mental problems. I'm on the 29th floor of my building and I found a stall on the 27th floor that no one ever seems to go to. It is perfect for me and my poop-conscious ways. I have to walk down the hall, take the elevator down 2 stories, use my access card to get into 27 and walk around 1/2 of the length of the floor to get there. It's a solid 5-7 minute trip depending on the elevators. The only problem is concealing the PSP in my pocket for all that time. It's a little inconvenient but totally worth it for the privacy it provides.

When I was in college I knew a ton of people that would scout the best bathrooms around to use to take a dump (i.e. the least popular ones) so I know I'm not the only one... how far do you go?

Im on five, I will only go on on two, and its stairs only here. In college we would have house meetings to discuss the best places to take a dump on campus.

I walk down the hall about 10 feet or so or up to the second floor of my house. Max, it's a 20-30 second walk. I do have to go up 18 or so stairs so I get quite a workout.

About 10 feet.

We only have 3 floors. I'm on the third, but the 1st floor is usually empty, so I go down there :p

I go down the hall to the front of the building past the security doors to the 'public' bathroom. Its open to the public, but we're in the bussiness sector and there are never people that come in. 9/10 times I go, its empty! ^_^ Its also a single stall, so I never have to deal with the guy that sounds like hes dropping a watermelon off a sky scraper.

I go up two flights of stairs to the conference floor, which is almost never being used. It's worth it, because I usually have the bathroom to myself, and I can dump in peace.

At a prior job I remember routinely going down a couple of flights to a floor that was virtually deserted.

i go to the hospital across the street where i work where they have private bathrooms. yes!! you can lock the door and you got the bathroom for yourself. I do have to cross the street though, and waiting for the "walk" sign is crap.

I work from the home. Right now I'm about 50 feet away from my restroom.

Wow. A lock on the door is like the promised land of bathrooms.

I usually bite the bullet at school and wait till I get home. It's painful sometimes, but better in the long run.

I work on the ground floor. I usually go up to the 3rd floor. The higher up in our building you go the less people there are and the cleaner everything is. The ground floor and first floor bathrooms looks like a band of travelling gypsies just moved out of them.

If I'm on my way out of the office for a bit I'll drive the 4 minutes it takes me to get home. Sometimes I feel like Sh!tbreak in American Pie going home for the dump. If not and I have to go here, it's less than 10 paces to the larger of the 2 restrooms we have here. I work in a house that was converted into office space.

I just use the bathroom thats closest, I don't see any reasons to walk further just because of the slight chance there might be someone in the closer bathroom.

Maybe 50 feet. Not far at all.

There's a small and hardly used bathroom off the main lobby of the building I work in. Only 1 stall...
If it's a time of day when that may be occupied though, I'll use the huge bathroom on my floor (2nd)... I usually aim for one of the end stalls, the spacious handicapped stall is my preferred location if I have to use that bathroom.

I guess my mental handicap doesn't count for "being handicapped" though... I always feel like a bastard for using that stall. :shame:

For a shit?

I usually try to hold it until I can get home, if possible.

If not, I quest far and wide for the cleanest toilet, build a toilet paper nest, and get it over with as fast as possible.

When I was in college, I actually cut a class because I had a turtlehead touching cotton. That's an easy 8 - 10 miles.

All for the xanadu that is my personal toilet.

Good luck on selling/trading that PSP in the future.

It's not like I wipe my ass with it or get shit particles all over my hands and then play but I guess I wouldn't want one that's been in the shitter so many times either. I'm not planning on selling or trading it though... what would I do on the shitter?

"A turtlehead touching cotton."

Funniest thing I've seen today.

For one thing, I don't eat breakfast, so I don't need to during school. But, yeah, shitting at school is for sophmores. When the stall doesn't even have a fucking door (this is all the bathrooms), it's generally accepted that you just don't shit at school.

I never shit on campus, but supposedly there's a bathroom here where some guy was found brutally murdered. They never solved the case.

[EDIT] BTW, when you flush a toilet, a six foot plume of bacteria comes out of the toilet.

... use my access card to get into 27...

Just noticed this part. Is there any other reason for you to go down to 27 or are they going to get suspicious and start tracking your shitting time?

Let's just say that it would be a stretch to explain why I was down there more than one time in a given week. The IT people are down there and there's only a few of them - no attorneys at all...

Very simple. There are plenty of rarely-used restrooms around campus, primarily on floors where there are very few classrooms and offices. The fact that some of these have up to seven stalls, almost all of them immaculate from lack of use, is only icing on the cake. These are preferred mostly because the only people who end up using it are students in-the-know (all four of them) and the janitorial staff (who rarely want to clean up after themselves so they do things right!). Far better than those locations around campus that look like they came out of a third-world country.

Otherwise, if I'm in my dorm room and the bathroom is in use, it's a nice 11 floor wait to the only other available "open" bathroom around. It pisses me off something awful, really. In my undergrad days since all of the bathrooms in the suites had doors that could be accessed in a small common area that faced out into the hallways, it was up to suitemates whether or not to leave that door to the bathroom "common area" open. Since almost all of us did and we had no problems using someone else's bathroom in case of emergency, it was good to know that we had five available bathrooms at any given moment that were spotless. God, was that ever a relief in case somebody felt that an 80-minute shower was far more important than anything else in the world.

I dont even use a public bathroom if I dont absolutely need to,
and never at school, because all the bathrooms are 30 years old and none of the stalls lock, not to mention people stealing the papers towels all the time,
but if I must use a public non-school bathroom, I just find the cleanest stall and finish as quickly as possible

Does anyone have the experience of being in the bathroom and every stall is open (excep the one your in of course) and some nutsack chooses to go into the stall right next to you? Its been happening alot at my work lately and its really freaking me out. I cant get things done when someone is right next to me .. especially if I know the rest of the bathroom is empty.

I never try to shit in public restrooms. But if I really had to go, it's just in the back stockroom.

I sometimes go down to the basement of my dorm. Those bathrooms are the shitting bathrooms causes thats the only thing they are used for.

If I know I can't hold it till I get home, I'll just use whatever.
I've done it at a Burger King, high school, and the mother fucking flea market.

When I worked full time answering phones (customer service) at a major credit card company, we weren't allowed to take breaks to shit. Well, other than the 15 minute breaks twice a day and lunch, but sometimes you gotta go when you gotta go. . .
