Final Fantasy Advent Children is the fucking bomb!!!

It took a second to get my bearings when the movie began but it wasn't long before I was sent back 8 years down memory lane with the best RPG ever. I wish I would have ordered the Special Edition DVD release of this movie because it would have been well worth the money.

It really didn't have many similarites to the game or any RPG for that matter, many more similarites to The Matrix and Dragon Ball Z.

:-s I was referring to the links between the game's story and the movie's continuation of that story. Did you play FFVII?

Yes it was very Matrixish but bad ass nonetheless. I'm still geekin out about it!

I am trying my hardest to be a good little consumer and wait for the US release.. but its so difficult with everyone telling me how great it is.. my friend from work bought the $300 japanese deluxe set.. it was cool, but a little dissapointed in the action figure.. expected higher quality materials..

The action was incredible. I didn't think they were gonna go all Wuxia on us. The way everything flowed action wise was just superb, especially in the Tifa fight.

Edit: Out of idle curiosity, did Square ever discuss how they created AC? I'd love to know what program they did their primary modeling and animation in, what plug-ins they used, all of that.

I don't think they used any commercially available software. I'm fairly sure it's the internal dev. kits they used to make The Spirits Within.
