Is anyone getting America's Army on the 15th?

I didn't get a chance to play the (free) PC version, but this is a game that really holds my interest for some reason.

I'll try to post reviews as they appear online.

I bought it with some store credit I had...

No reviews online, yet... which reminds me of Rainbow Six: Lockdown reviews not hitting the Intarweb until a couple of weeks after it's release.

I played a little bit of the single player campaign, though, and it's pretty satisfying thus far. I'll try the Live multiplayer out later today.

The PC version was really good ... but it was free too. No way am i spending $50 bucks when i can just DL it for free.

I will wait for reviews on it. I'm more interested inthe single player part of it. If I wanted multiplayer, I would just hop on my pc or play BF2.

I'm currently hooked to BF2: MC and hope this game isn't another OF:E.

I must not be the only one bothered by the fact that you have to pay $50 for this recruitment tool.

I joke about that, too. But they actually published it. They didn't develop it.

Yeah, the PC version rocks. Bet nobody here can beat me on a sniper-only bridge server...

Secret Level (I believe their the development team) has done pretty decent work in the past (Magic the Gathering, Jedi Starfighter, etc.)

I think this is going to be a victim of an overpopulation. I was semi-interested in it but with Earned in Blood, a barely used Lockdown, and an unopened Far Cry...I don't have much room left on the plate to rationalize paying more than $20 for it.

I traded my copy in a couple of weeks ago. I got pretty far into the single player campaign and just got tired with it.

At any given time, there were three or four other people on Live... so I didn't see a point in keeping it around and got rid of it while I still could. :O

This game never looked that great for consoles...

I was hoping they'd touch up the bootleggy feel of the PC version... alas, they did not.

Another game I can tell my boyfriend he can wait to get when it hits $20 bucks or less. He really wanted this one but it will have to wait too.

I loved it I thought it was awsome but, I like slower paced games so yeah 1 hit and your dead or you are not of much use.

Yeah. It'd be a good twenty dollar title. Tell him to wait.

Me, when it does reach twenty, I ain't gonna pick it up again. Single player was the same as the PC (which I never got to play) -- and the game felt very cheap. I thought the Live play would make it a keeper... but, nah.
