View Full Version : Call of Duty 2:BRO is the best game

I am a WW2 honkey so this was the Halo Killer for me. The graphics and effects are pretty amazing, and the gameplay and level designs are jumps ahead of Finest Hour. This is pretty much the PC game in console form. There were no annoying escourt missions. The whole game was fun from start to finish. Best of all theres 2 beach landing levels including Omaha.
But the best part is the multiplayer. Multiplayer maps arent generic looking, much larger, tons of hiding spots that makes for great large games, with a great variety of weapons and the vehicles add a new twist for consoles. They also incorporated the ranking system so you can call in airstrikes. The only thing I dont like is that you can only get airstrikes when you use the scoped rifles and not my usual MP44 or BAR. I dont know why but I just rip people to shreds online which is great since I am usually middle tier in other games. I played about 50 games online and I have yet to come in anything but first and rarely second place on my team (It figures the one game I rock at, doesnt have stat tracking).
If any CAGS get ahold of it, lets play.

Awesome! I hope COD2 for the 360 is as good as you say this one is.

It sucks since its probably just being overlooked since they released it so close to the 360 version.

Well this version was done by the developers of the PC version and they got it all right :)

It keeps getting better. The Cassino map from the PC expansion is in this game as well.

I've been playing this a ton online as well. I like it as much as halo. Great chaos, people online are cool, great maps. It's got me looking forward to the 360 game as well. My gamertag is "Son of a Beep" we should play some team DM sometime.

I thought the level design was better than Finest Hour's, but I still think the PC/360 games are superior.

LOL I dont have a china hutch....
And no Nazi plates either. But I do have a helmet and bayonet in my basement.

That's good that it didn't turn out like Finest Hour. I was expecting an experience similar of the PC original when I picked up COD:FH--man was I wrong. I could've sworn I was playing Medal of Honor. Although, Call of Duty 2 is one of my top picks for 360 games this Christmas, so I'm not touching this one.

Yes. Totally different games.
I just had on online match TDM with 67 kills and 21 deaths against some pretty good compertition too. The second highest score was 25 and they were there longer than me. If there was ever a game for me to be the best at, this is it. That and Ridge Racer on PSX.

heh , you gotta play me in RR on PSX. Too me that was the best game till Initial D came along.
